Symptoms of allergic asthma

Symptoms of allergic asthma

Allergic asthma is relatively common in our lives. In fact, allergic asthma is a common disease in the human body and also a manifestation of asthma. There are many symptoms of allergic asthma. In clinical practice, many doctors often rely on the symptoms of allergic asthma to diagnose allergic asthma. However, for ordinary people, many people actually do not know the symptoms of allergic asthma, so this leads to many people not knowing what disease they have when allergic asthma attacks.

Allergic asthma is a disease that is very difficult to treat, and the onset of allergic asthma is actually related to allergens. Therefore, in order to truly cure allergic asthma, we must first understand the allergens of different allergic asthma patients, so that we can cure allergic asthma fundamentally. Let’s first talk about the symptoms of allergic asthma.

Allergic asthma is a relatively stubborn disease that often occurs in infancy and can persist for life if neglected. Most asthma patients have allergies or allergic rhinitis. Asthma patients with allergic rhinitis will have symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy nose, itchy eyes, and tears before the onset of the disease. Because the symptoms are similar to those of respiratory infections or inflammations, adults lack relevant knowledge and often neglect treatment in the early stages, and are very likely to be misdiagnosed.

Before an allergic asthma attack, there are precursor symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, coughing, chest tightness, etc. If not treated in time, asthma may occur due to worsening bronchial obstruction. In severe cases, the patient may be forced to sit or sit up to breathe, have a dry cough or cough up a lot of white foamy sputum, and even cyanosis. But generally it can be relieved by self-treatment or with anti-asthmatic drugs. Some patients may have another attack a few hours after relief, or even develop status asthmaticus.

There are also atypical manifestations of asthma in clinical practice. For example, in cough variant asthma, patients cough without obvious cause for more than 2 months, and the attacks often occur at night and early morning. The symptoms are aggravated by exercise, cold air, etc. Airway reactivity tests show high reactivity. Antibiotics or antitussive and expectorant drugs are ineffective. The use of bronchial spasmolytics or corticosteroids is effective, but other diseases that cause coughing need to be ruled out.

Symptoms of allergic asthma include:

1. Recurrent episodes of wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness or coughing are often related to contact with allergens, cold air, physical or chemical stimulation, viral upper respiratory tract infection, exercise, etc.

2. During an attack, scattered or diffuse wheezing sounds can be heard in both lungs, mainly in the expiratory phase, and the expiratory phase is prolonged.

3. The above symptoms can be relieved through treatment or on their own.

4. Exclude wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness or coughing caused by other diseases.

The symptoms of allergic asthma generally include: sneezing, runny nose, coughing, etc., and many times these symptoms will recur, which is very painful for patients with allergic asthma. Now we know the symptoms of allergic asthma, which will be helpful in treating allergic asthma. In the future, patients with allergic asthma will be able to make correct judgments in the shortest time possible, which will ensure timely treatment.
