TCM's 9 major body types and health preservation

Huangdi Neijing said: People have different innate endowments and are born with fixed constitutions. So how many constitutions do we have? Why are some people weak and some strong? Let's first take a look at the classification of human constitutions and then learn about physical health care based on different constitutions:


Peaceful

People with this constitution have a well-proportioned and strong body, moist complexion and skin, thick and shiny hair, bright eyes, abundant energy, good sleep and appetite, and rarely get sick.

Health preservation method: pay attention to the combination of work and rest, and maintain adequate sleep. Keep exercising. Young people can run or play ball, while the elderly can take a walk or practice Tai Chi.



Qi deficiency

People with this constitution have a weak voice, are prone to lack of energy, get tired easily, catch colds easily, and have difficulty recovering after becoming ill.

Health preservation method: Eat foods that nourish qi and strengthen the spleen. Keep warm at ordinary times. You can do some gentle exercises, such as walking, practicing Tai Chi, doing exercises, etc., and persist in doing them.

Yang deficiency constitution

Moisture and heat
