How to recover from myopia

How to recover from myopia

Myopia is a common disease in life. It occurs in people of all ages. Compared with the elderly, the incidence rate among young people and children is higher. Long-term survey results show that myopia among children and adolescents is mostly caused by lack of physical exercise, picky eating, incomplete nutrition, lack of scientific eye knowledge, no eye protection measures and means, and long-term bad eye habits. Watching TV or playing video games for a long time is even more harmful.

The number of people suffering from myopia has increased dramatically in recent years, and most of them are children and teenagers. For mild myopia, it can still be recovered through some methods. First of all, we need to understand some common sense about myopia, which can help prevent and recover from myopia.

1. Correct sitting posture: When using the computer, reading or writing, the distance between your eyes and the object should be at least one foot.

2. Combine work and rest and do more exercise: White-collar workers in big cities have busy working hours, and the high-intensity workload often makes it impossible for the eyes to relax well, and they are always in a very tense state. Therefore, you should work for half an hour and then stop to rest for a while.

3. Look at more green plants: When our eyes look at colors, the most comfortable color is green. Green plants can relax our eyes. Go to the window and look at the green vegetation in the distance.

4. Rotate your eyeballs to recover from myopia: look straight ahead and move your eyeballs slowly toward a point in the middle, so-called "cross-eyed". Stay for two seconds, then let your eyeballs slowly return to normal. Repeat this 50 times. Or you can move your eyeballs in the air in a clockwise direction, up, down, left, and right, to draw a large square. Make the square as large as possible. Then move counterclockwise. Repeat 50 times. Be careful not to move your head. These can exercise the ciliary muscles.

5. Method to restore myopia and distant vision: Go to an open lawn: Green light has a shorter wavelength and is formed in front of the retina, which helps relax eye accommodation and ciliary muscles, thus reducing eye fatigue. Pseudomyopia is mostly caused by eye fatigue. Reducing eye fatigue is very helpful for the recovery of pseudomyopia.

6. Crystal gymnastics for myopia recovery: Eye rotation: Hold your chin with both hands and rotate your eyeballs to the left, right, up and down for 5 times, then rotate counterclockwise and clockwise for 5 times each.

7. Myopia recovery massage method: Close your eyes naturally, and then massage the acupoints around the eyes one by one. The technique should be gentle, and the degree of soreness and swelling should be achieved locally. Repeat it step by step, three times a day, morning, noon and evening, to achieve the effect of natural recovery.

8. You should eat more milk and eggs on a daily basis. Milk and eggs are rich in fat, inorganic salts, protein, vitamins A, B1, B2, etc. The protein they contain contains all the essential amino acids. The nutrients it contains play a certain role in the nutritional supply of eye muscles, sclera, iris, and fundus tissues. Adequate nutrition enhances the strength of the ciliary muscle and the toughness of the sclera, greatly improving blood circulation in the eyes.

9. In addition, eating more walnuts and black sesame seeds can also be of great help in the recovery of myopia. Dietary taboos during the recovery period of myopia: Do not eat too much greasy food during treatment, and eat fruits and vegetables that can clear the liver and improve eyesight as much as possible. Such as meat, fish, eggs, milk, soybeans, almonds, seaweed, kelp, peanuts, dates, etc.

The above introduces how to recover from myopia, but the best way is to prevent it before it happens. For example, teaching children the correct sitting posture from an early age, not watching TV for too long, etc., combining work and rest appropriately, and learning to do eye exercises are all good ways to prevent myopia.
