Cervical reflexology area on the back of the hand

Each part of the human body has a corresponding reflex zone. For example, there are a large number of acupoints and reflex zones on the human hands. The cervical vertebra reflex zone is located on the back of the human hand. When you feel discomfort in your cervical spine, you can relieve this feeling by massaging the cervical vertebra reflex zone on the back of your hand. Of course, you should pay attention to the strength. So, where exactly is the cervical reflex zone on the back of the hand?

Cervical spondylosis, also known as cervical spondylosis syndrome, is a common and frequently occurring disease among middle-aged people. It is a group of symptoms caused by degenerative lesions of the cervical intervertebral disc and cervical bone hyperplasia that stimulate or compress the cervical nerve roots, spinal cord, vertebral arteries or sympathetic nerves. The clinical manifestations are characterized by neck and shoulder pain, limited mobility, arm numbness, muscle atrophy, etc.

Cervical spondylosis can be divided into five types according to the different sites of compression and clinical symptoms: nerve root type, spinal cord type, vertebral artery type, sympathetic nerve type and mixed type. Among them, the nerve root type is the most common, accounting for about 65% of cervical spondylosis.

Hand massage can relieve spasms in the affected muscles and blood vessels, improve blood circulation, enhance local blood supply, and promote the repair of diseased tissues. It is also helpful in eliminating swelling and relieving pressure on nerve roots or other tissues, thereby alleviating or eliminating symptoms. Hand massage is not effective for cervical spondylotic myelopathy.

Three manifestations of cervical spondylosis on the hands: there is a "cross" pattern on the cervical vertebrae area of the left hand; there are diamond-shaped patterns on the fate line; there are dark brown or coffee-colored spots on the cervical vertebrae on the back of the hand. Not only can you diagnose symptoms from your hands, you can also achieve preventive health care effects by massaging your hands.

3. Push and press method

5. Clamping method

Use a transmitting clip or a regular clothespin to clamp the reflex area to achieve the therapeutic purpose.

6. Extrusion method
