How to restore eyesight

Modern society is becoming more and more developed. From simple slides to videotapes and then to televisions, and later the emergence of computers, there are endless entertainment activities. Although these entertainment methods have enriched our lives, they have also generally reduced the eyesight of the general public. This is closely related to our daily lifestyle. So when we develop myopia in the early stages, we still have the possibility of restoring our vision.

When we just become nearsighted, it is not considered true myopia. Only when our pupils gradually take shape will we develop true myopia. If we want to restore our vision, we need to alleviate the myopia trend during the period when the pupils take shape and allow our vision to gradually recover.

Fill a basin with warm water, open your eyes, immerse them in the water, turn your eyeballs to the right 3 times and to the left 3 times. Note: do not blink in the water. If you want to blink, open your eyes and take them out of the water.

1. Eye exercises

You can sit or lie on your back, close your eyes naturally, and then massage the acupoints around the eyes one by one. The acupoints must be located accurately and the technique must be gentle, until a local soreness and swelling sensation is felt.

1. Rub Tianying acupoint: Use the thumbs of both hands to gently rub Tianying acupoint (below the eyebrows, at the upper outer corner of the eye socket).

2. Press the Jingming acupoint: Use the thumb of one hand to gently press the Jingming acupoint (the root of the nose close to the inner canthus of the eyes), press down first, then press upwards.

3. Rub the Sibai point: Use your index finger to rub the Sibai point in the center of the cheek (one horizontal finger directly below the lower edge of the eye socket).

4. Press the temple and scrape the eye socket: Press the temple with your thumb (one horizontal finger back from the middle of the eyebrow and the outer corner of the eye), and then use the inner side of the second section of the bent index finger to lightly scrape the eye socket in a circle, from upper inside -> upper outside -> lower outside -> lower inside, so that the acupoints around the eye socket such as Zanzhuyuyao, Sizhukong, Tongziliao, Qiuhou, Chengqi, etc. can be massaged. It is beneficial for pseudomyopia or preventing the worsening of myopia.

2. Ironing Eyes

It is best to do this method while sitting down, relax your whole body, close your eyes, then quickly rub your palms together to generate heat. Cover your eyes with both hands while they are still hot. After the heat dissipates, suddenly remove your hands and open your eyes at the same time. Do this 3 to 5 times. This can promote blood circulation in the eyes and enhance metabolism.

3. Eye Breathing and Concentration Method

Choose a place with fresh air, sit or stand, relax your whole body, look straight ahead, slowly inhale enough air, open your eyes wide, pause for a moment, then slowly exhale, slowly close your eyes, do this 9 times in a row.

4. Eye-turning method

Choose a quiet place, sit or stand, relax your whole body, clear your mind, open your eyes, keep your head and neck still, and only move your eyeballs. First, gaze directly below, then slowly turn to the left, then to the top, to the right, and finally back to the top.

Gaze directly downward, and then turn clockwise 9 times. Then let your eyes move from gazing downwards, to the right, to the top, to the left, and then back downwards, and do this 9 times in a counterclockwise direction. Do this 4 times in total. Every time you turn your eyes,

All should be pushed to the limit as much as possible. This eye-rolling method can exercise the eye muscles, improve nutrition, and make the eyes flexible and bright.

5. Gaze into the distance:

Find a meadow or green tree 10 meters away: Due to the shorter wavelength of green, the image is formed in front of the retina, which helps the eyes to relax and the ciliary muscles to reduce eye fatigue. Don't squint or blink too often. Clear your mind, concentrate, and stare intently for 25 seconds to identify the outline of grass or leaves. Then place your left palm slightly higher than your eyes and about 30 cm in front of your eyes, and look at the palm lines one by one from beginning to end, for about 5 seconds. After looking at the palm lines, stare at the grass or leaves in the distance for 25 seconds, and then look at the palm lines again. Repeat 20 times in 10 minutes, three times a day. If your eyesight is severely impaired, you should increase the number of training sessions.

Find an object 3 meters away (such as calligraphy or painting on the wall), and at the same time raise your left hand and stretch it slightly above your eyes (about 30 cm). After seeing the lines on your palm clearly, look at the distant object, and move your eyes between the two as quickly as possible, back and forth 20 times.
