Blisters around nails

Blisters around the nails are one of the symptoms of dyshidrotic eczema. This symptom is particularly likely to occur in the summer. 4. Dyshidrotic eczema often recurs regularly every year. Dyshidrotic eczema is related to factors such as mental stress, excessive sweating of hands and feet, fungal infection and allergic reaction.

2. Treatment of sweat herpes

 

1. Keep your hands and feet dry and clean.

2. Apply 1% alum solution for wet compress and calamine lotion externally.

3. Prevent infection.

4. Use Chinese medicine for external cleaning. According to the characteristics of this disease being mainly caused by dampness, the method of absorbing moisture and astringing blisters can be used: 60g of fenugreek, 30g of alum, 30g of pomegranate peel, decocted in water to extract juice, soak and wash the affected area, 5 minutes each time, twice a day.

5. Others: Reduce contact with soap, alkali, washing powder, detergent, gasoline, alcohol and other substances; keep your emotions open and avoid emotional frustration; do not tear off the shed skin with your hands to prevent contamination and pus.

3. Treatment of Dyshidrosis with Traditional Chinese Medicine

Dyshidrosis not only affects the appearance of the hands, but also often affects the patient's life due to itching. In severe cases, secondary infection may occur, causing swelling and pain in the hands. The Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment for dyshidrotic eczema is multi-faceted. Comprehensive external treatment of Qingxuan Ning, combined with diet and emotional regulation:

 

Internal treatment:

Traditional Chinese medicine has a long history of treating dyshidrotic eczema, which was called ant nest as early as the Ming Dynasty. Since the symptoms are mainly deep blisters, it should be attributed to the dominance of dampness.

1. In the syndrome of internal damp-heat, there are often deep blisters on the palms and soles, which are clustered together and the size of a needle tip. They are itchy and can be broken into pieces with yellow and sticky fluid. The patient is also accompanied by a red tongue with a greasy coating and a slippery and rapid pulse. Treatment should be based on clearing heat and removing dampness. Medicinal use: Scutellaria baicalensis 10g, Coptis chinensis 10g, Atractylodes lancea 15g, Tangerine peel 10g, Poria 10g, Liuyi powder 10g (wrapped and decocted), raw coix seed 30g, and Cortex Moutan 10g. Take it in decoction, 1 dose per day.

2. In the syndrome of spleen deficiency and dampness excess, there are scattered blisters on the palms and soles, ranging in size from a needle tip to a grain of corn, translucent, with clear and thin blister fluid, occasional itching, accompanied by a pale and slippery tongue, and a moist and slippery pulse. The treatment should be based on the method of strengthening the spleen and removing dampness. Medicinal use: Poria 12g, Atractylodes 10g, Alisma orientalis 10g, White hyacinth bean 10g, Plantago seed 10g (wrapped and decocted), fried Coix seed 60g, fried yam 30g, wax gourd peel 60g. Take it in decoction, 1 dose per day.

For external treatment, according to the characteristics of this disease which is mainly caused by dampness, the method of absorbing moisture and astringing blisters can be used: 30g of alum and 30g of pomegranate peel are decocted in water to obtain the juice, which is used to soak and wash the affected area for 5 minutes each time, twice a day.

Diet therapy

1. Eat more vegetables and fruits that have the effect of strengthening the spleen and removing dampness, such as yam, sweet potato, winter melon, watermelon, red bean, and pumpkin.

2. Eat less spicy and greasy food, fatty food, wine and cheese.
