Ten Fingers Connected to the Heart teaches you how to identify diseases from your fingers

We often hear people say "the ten fingers are connected to the heart", which means that the fingers and our heart have an inseparable relationship. Chinese medicine believes that the organs of the human body are connected, and the fingers correspond to the five internal organs of the human body. So if you want to be healthy, you can't ignore the small pains in your fingers, because different finger pains may indicate that the body may have different degrees of illness.

Thumb pain, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and head diseases

People with drumstick-shaped thumbs are more likely to suffer from congenital heart disease or chest diseases such as bronchiectasis.

The first section of the thumb is short and too hard to bend, which makes the person more susceptible to stroke, headache and heart disease.

The first and second sections of the thumb have many scattered lines, and the lines on the knuckles are scattered and unclear, which indicates a tendency to suffer from head diseases.

If the thumb is too weak and bends, it is easy to develop symptoms such as neurasthenia, headache, insomnia, and poor appetite.

When the thumb feels sore, it means that these body organs have accumulated too much stress. In addition to quitting smoking and drinking and getting more sleep, you can also treat it by massaging the tip of the thumb and both sides of the nail edge.

The elderly are insensitive to this type of pain because of their poor peripheral nerve sensation in their limbs. They also need to observe whether they have symptoms such as coughing, wheezing, chest fullness, palpitations, and irritability. They can often press the thumbs of both hands to stimulate the heart and lung meridians and relieve symptoms.

Index finger indicates poor liver function and prone to digestive system diseases

The texture of the index finger is scattered, pale and thin, with gaps between the fingers, indicating poor liver function, susceptibility to digestive system diseases, fatigue and listlessness.

People who have pain in their index fingers accompanied by sore throat, cough, fever, sweating, shortness of breath, dry mouth, toothache, diarrhea or constipation should frequently press the index fingers of both hands to stimulate the lung and large intestine meridians.

Middle finger digestive system diseases and dental diseases

If there is deviation and gaps between the fingers, it means that the circulatory system function is poor and it will also affect the intestinal function.

The middle finger is pale, thin and weak, indicating poor heart function and hematopoietic function.

The three knuckles are asymmetrical, with the second knuckle being particularly long, indicating poor calcium metabolism and susceptibility to bone and dental diseases.

Ring finger reproductive and urinary system diseases

If the ring finger is too thin, the reproductive system function is weak.

Deviation and leaking of knuckles often indicate weak urinary system function, and symptoms such as neurasthenia, headache, and insomnia may also occur simultaneously.

A short ring finger indicates weak vitality and lack of energy.

Ring finger pain accompanied by cough, wheezing, irritability, thirst, sputum and other symptoms may indicate lung disease. Regular pressing of the ring finger can regulate hormone secretion and improve the condition. Regular massage also has the magical effect of relieving menstrual pain.

Little finger reproductive system diseases

The little finger is short, the reproductive function is weak, the kidney qi is insufficient, and it is easy to suffer from dizziness, tinnitus, low back and leg pain and other diseases.

Excessive bending of the little finger is often associated with poor ovarian function in women, who are prone to infertility, and sexual dysfunction in men, who are prone to impotence and premature ejaculation.

Soreness in the little finger is accompanied by a disorder of body water metabolism. Massaging the acupoints on the tip of the little finger and on both sides of the nail edge is beneficial to kidney health and can also eliminate swelling of the limbs.

People whose ring fingers are the same length as their index fingers or slightly shorter have a higher risk of sudden heart attacks between the ages of 30 and 40, and people with longer ring fingers are more likely to suffer from heart disease when they are older. If your fingers feel numb, you may have cervical spondylosis, stroke, diabetes and other diseases. Although the probability is not very high, we need to be vigilant at all times.
