Treatment for deformed toenails

Treatment for deformed toenails

In our lives, toenails may be deformed because we have been engaged in physical labor for a long time, or it may be caused by toenails infection. Therefore, for this situation, we recommend that you should treat this disease in time in your life, which will greatly help us reduce the factors of toenail infection.

The fingertips of the fingers and toes are the end of the human body's blood circulation, especially the ankles are the bottom of the human body, just like the bottom of a water tank. When impurities and dirt in the water settle, they will accumulate at the bottom of the tank. The human body is the same. When the blood is acidic or dirty, it is also very easy to accumulate at the extremities and ankles. These acids and dirt will affect the normal survival of the cells of the extremities and ankles, especially the fingernails and toenails. The toenails are the most affected. When the nail cells cannot survive due to acidity, they will begin to deform, harden, and thicken. In mild cases, onychomycosis will occur.

Simply taking antifungal drugs such as griseofulvin, fluconazole, itraconazole (Sporanox), etc. has certain therapeutic effects and is convenient. However, because this type of drug must reach the deck where the fungus is parasitic to exert its antibacterial effect, and because its solubility in water is low and slow, and its absorption and metabolism are very fast, the dosage is large and the use time is long. In addition, oral medications have side effects and are prone to relapse after discontinuation of medication, so they are not suitable as a routine treatment for onychomycosis.

Generally, external therapy is recommended for the treatment of onychomycosis. Depending on the different medicines, there are mainly soaking, local application and packing and scraping methods. The treatment requires the removal of the diseased nail, so it is generally not as convenient as oral administration, but it is safe, painless and has no side effects. As long as the medicine is selected properly, the effect will be ideal. Use pure Chinese medicine bath therapy (for external use) to treat onychomycosis (tinea pedis and tinea manuum). The main ingredients include: Chinese herbal medicines such as Smilax glabra, Sophora flavescens, Dictyophora indica, Bombyx batryticatus, Whole worm, Centipede, and White Flower Snake. Use large doses and high concentrations, and wash and soak for more than 20 minutes each time.

Regarding the deformation of toenails, we should have a good understanding in our lives so that we can know what causes the deformation of toenails. For deformed toenails, we can use the treatment methods introduced in the article to treat it in our daily life, or we can treat deformed toenails according to the doctor's advice.
