Why is the clitoral head itchy and painful?

The glans clitoris is a tissue on a unique physiological organ of women. This place is very important for women. If there are some problems, it is likely to lead to many diseases and will affect our lives to varying degrees. There are certain reasons for the itching and pain in the glans clitoris, but many people don’t know about it. So what is the reason for the itching and pain in the glans clitoris?

The clitoris is a part of the female private parts. Once itching occurs, it is very likely that you have a gynecological disease. Experts say that trichomoniasis, candidal vaginitis, genital warts, cervicitis, etc. can cause itching of the clitoral glans. In this case, active treatment must be given, and preventive measures must be taken.

Clitoral pain and itching is just a symptom, not a disease. Clitoral itching is a common type of vulvar itching. The most common areas for vulvar pain and itching are the clitoris and labia minora. In severe cases, the labia majora, the entire vaginal opening, perineum, anus, the area behind the anus and even the inner thighs may be affected.

Although clitoral itching can affect everyone from infants to adults and elderly women, the vast majority of patients are menopausal women. In mild cases, clitoral pain and itching are intermittent, and some only occur during sleep; in severe cases, clitoral pain and itching persist. It was so itchy that I had to scratch it with my hands. Repeated scratching of the affected skin may cause lichenification and hypertrophy.

There are many causes of clitoral pain and itching, the following three are the most common. The first is chronic local irritation, such as leucorrhea, urine, local uncleanliness, dirt and other local irritations, which cause clitoral pain and itching. The second is suffering from vulvar diseases, such as vulvar varicose veins, vulvar leukoplakia, menopausal clitoral pain and itching, as well as vulvar skin diseases (such as lichen planus, chronic eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, epidermal fungus, etc.) and pubic lice. The third type is medical diseases, such as vitamin deficiency (especially A and B), diabetes, gout, jaundice, leukemia and other medical diseases.

Certain systemic allergic diseases such as drug rashes and urticaria, as well as some people's allergies to soaps, vulvar douches, hemorrhoid creams, contraceptive gels, contraceptive devices, etc., can also cause pain and itching. Some neurotic patients may also experience symptoms of psychogenic clitoral pain and itching.
