Nowadays, whether to have a boy or a girl is no longer the most important issue. The hot topic that everyone is concerned about is eugenics and good parenting. Therefore, having a child is no longer as simple as before. A series of certificates and examinations are required to see if your body is suitable for the healthy growth of the baby. Rubella is an acute infectious disease caused by the rubella virus and transmitted through the air, which mainly occurs in spring. Rubella virus is prone to vertical infection. After a pregnant woman is first infected with rubella virus in early pregnancy, the virus can enter the fetus through the placental barrier, often causing miscarriage or stillbirth. It can also cause congenital rubella syndrome in the fetus and cause fetal malformations. The virus has weak vitality outside the body and is sensitive to ultraviolet light, ether, cesium chloride, deoxycholic acid, etc. pH < 3.0 can inactivate it. It takes 14 to 21 days from contact infection to the onset of rubella symptoms. The symptoms are very mild in the first 1 to 2 days of the disease, and may include low or moderate fever, mild cough, fatigue, poor appetite, sore throat, red eyes and other mild upper respiratory tract symptoms. The patient's oral mucosa is smooth, without congestion or mucosal spots, and the lymph nodes behind the ears and in the occipital region are enlarged with mild tenderness. The rash usually appears 1 to 2 days after the fever, starting on the face and neck and spreading to the whole body within 24 hours. The rash initially appears as sparse red maculopapules, which may later merge on the face and limbs, similar to measles. Starting from the second day of the rash, the rash on the face and limbs may turn into pinpoint red spots, such as a scarlet fever-like rash. The rash usually fades quickly within 3 days, leaving lighter pigmentation. During the rash period, the body temperature no longer rises, the child often feels no illness, and eats and plays as usual. Rubella is different from measles. The systemic symptoms of rubella are mild, there are no measles mucosal spots, and it is accompanied by swollen lymph nodes behind the ears and in the neck. Rubella is a viral infectious disease with the following clinical features: mild systemic symptoms, red maculopapular rashes on the skin, and enlarged and tender lymph nodes behind the occipital area, behind the ears, and behind the neck; complications are rare. The virus can be transmitted to the fetus through the placenta and cause various congenital defects, which is called congenital rubella syndrome. When the rubella virus antibody is positive, it means that the woman is infected with this type of virus. For pregnant women, the rubella virus can cause fetal malformation or even fetal death, so this is a must-check item before planning to become pregnant. Therefore, when the result of this test is positive, you should not become pregnant. You must wait 6 months after complete cure. |
