Its mechanism of action is to inhibit ergosterol synthase, an essential component of the fungal cell membrane, thereby blocking the synthesis of ergosterol, destroying the integrity of the fungal cell wall, and inhibiting its growth and reproduction. This product has strong antibacterial activity against Candida albicans, Microsporum, Cryptococcus neoformans, Epidermophyton and Histoplasma capsulatum. It is well absorbed orally, widely distributed in the body, and can penetrate into the cerebrospinal fluid. It is mainly used clinically for vaginal candidiasis, thrush, atrophic oral candidiasis, fungal meningitis, fungal lung infection, abdominal infection, urinary tract infection and skin fungal infection, etc.
