TCM treatment of uremia

TCM treatment of uremia

In daily life, many diseases are difficult to detect, such as uremia, a very harmful disease. Generally speaking, late-stage uremia cannot be treated and is considered a terminal illness. So let us understand how to deal with early-stage uremia.

The cause of uremia is mostly kidney deficiency. Use Chinese medicine such as cinnamon twig, aconite, cordyceps, epimedium, and Morinda officinalis to warm the yang, as well as heat-clearing and dampness-removing medicines such as Pinellia, Plantago, Sophora japonica, Coptis chinensis, and Rhubarb to drain dampness, and add Chinese medicine such as Angelica sinensis and Astragalus to replenish qi and blood. All the medicines are decocted in water and taken once in the morning and evening for one week.

2 Fry the blood-activating, spleen-strengthening and Zhuoshui drugs such as Salvia miltiorrhiza, Leonurus japonicus, Coix seed, Chuanxiong and Gelsemium elegans with sesame oil to make a plaster and apply it to the kidney acupoints. Because most patients with uremia cannot digest the drugs well, the ointment form can allow the drugs to enter the meridians, be absorbed by the body and penetrate into the root of the disease.

3. Soak pungent and hot Chinese medicines such as ephedra, cinnamon twig, safflower, mugwort, and asarum in hot water and give them to patients with uremia for a bath to eliminate toxins through sweating. You can also add diuretic Chinese medicine to enhance the diuretic effect and eliminate toxins and excess creatinine from the urine.

Note:

Uremia is also closely related to the human body's constitution, so dialectical treatment is needed at the beginning of treatment to understand the patient's constitution and ensure that the patient can withstand the spiciness and heat of the medicine while expelling the toxins.

The above article introduces us to Traditional Chinese Medicine for uremia. For early stage uremia, you can choose conservative treatment with Traditional Chinese Medicine. As we all know, the treatment of uremia requires kidney transplantation. If there is no suitable kidney source, you can choose Traditional Chinese Medicine for treatment.
