What is the cause of crooked teeth?

Teeth are very important to a person. Some people's teeth grow in a messy way because they don't pay attention to them when they replace their teeth. This especially affects their appearance and can cause people to feel inferior. However, many people do not know the cause of uneven teeth and how to take care of teeth in normal times. Let me tell you what is the main cause of uneven teeth?

Congenital causes:

The growth and development of teeth is affected by internal and external factors of the human body. When the fetus is stimulated in the mother's body, or the mother is ill or malnourished during pregnancy, it will affect the normal development of the fetus's teeth and jaws, causing the teeth to be misaligned after they erupt. If parents have crooked teeth, this condition will be passed on to their children.

Acquired causes:

(1) Improper use of the pacifier. When feeding a child, if the bottle is positioned too far forward and upward or the baby lies flat on his back to feed, the lower jaw will be sucked forward, which will eventually cause the lower jaw and lower dental arch to move forward, compress the upper dental arch, and form an "overbite" deformity of the front teeth.

(2) Premature or late loss of deciduous teeth can cause uneven teeth growth. Primary teeth

If a tooth is not treated in time or falls out due to trauma, the teeth on both sides will shift into the gap, making the gap smaller and causing the permanent teeth that erupt later to be uneven due to lack of space.

(3) When people have difficulty breathing through their nose due to enlarged tonsils or nasal diseases, they often switch to mouth breathing and sleep with their mouths open. As air flows through the mouth, the upper palate bulges upward, and the left and right sides of the upper dental arch become narrower. The front part of the upper dental arch protrudes forward, and the erupted front teeth are not only tilted forward, but also arranged in a disorderly manner, forming a face with open lips.

The above points are the main reasons for uneven teeth. Most of them can lead to uneven teeth. Therefore, you must pay attention when the teeth are growing. Actively extract and replace teeth can avoid the occurrence of uneven teeth. You must maintain good oral hygiene at ordinary times. The mouth and teeth are directly related, which can easily lead to the occurrence of diseases.
