Foamy urine

Foamy urine

Foamy urine is a symptom that many people have experienced, especially for male friends. If the prostate is invaded by inflammation, it will cause foamy urine. In fact, many diseases may cause foamy urine. Therefore, it is recommended that you observe your urine at normal times. If foamy urine appears, it is best to have a physical examination.

Normal people's urine generally does not have foam. Even if there is foam, it will dissipate quickly. However, for foamy urine caused by certain diseases, it will not dissipate. In general, the diseases that cause foamy urine are more serious diseases, such as kidney disease or diabetes. The most specific reasons are:

1. In case of liver and kidney diseases, the bilirubin or protein content in urine increases, the surface tension of urine increases, and more bubbles may be produced during urination;

2. Bladder diseases such as cystitis, bladder cancer, etc., or other urinary tract infections can easily change the composition of urine and produce bubbles;

3. In diabetes, the content of urine sugar or urine ketone bodies increases, the acidity and alkalinity of urine changes, and the surface tension of urine increases;

4. When there are gas-producing bacteria in the urinary tract, bubbles may be produced in the urine;

5. Couples who have been separated for a long time and have stopped having sex for too long; those who are frequently sexually excited will have more bubbles in the urine due to the increased mucus secretion of the bulbourethral glands and the increased surface tension of the urine. In addition, when urination is urgent, the urination pressure increases and the urination rate increases, which increases the surface tension of the urine and increases the number of bubbles. In short, there are many reasons for bubbles in urine, but when there are a lot of bubbles in the urine, the bubbles are large and last for a long time, you should go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible.

Now that we know why there is foam in the urine, if it is confirmed that the foam in the urine is caused by some kidney disease or other diseases, we must seek timely treatment, especially for kidney disease. If it is not treated in time, it will have a serious impact on kidney function and may even develop into uremia, which will endanger the patient's life.
