In our daily lives, there are many common Chinese herbal medicines, and angelica is one of them. When it comes to angelica, probably everyone knows about it, but I believe there are not many people who understand it. Although angelica is a common medicinal material, it has great value in pharmacology. So, what are the medicinal value of Angelica? How can it help us? Let’s find out now. Angelica is the dried root of Angelica sinensis (Oliv,) Diels of the Umbelliferae family. It is dug up in late autumn, and the fibrous roots and mud and sand are removed. After the water evaporates slightly, it is tied into small bundles, put on the shed, and slowly dried with fireworks. The whole angelica root is slightly cylindrical, the top of the root is called the "Gui head", and the main root is called the "Gui body" or "Cun body". The branch root is called "Guiwei" or "Guitui" and the whole is called "Quangui". The whole angelica can both nourish blood and activate blood circulation, which is collectively called blood harmonization; the body of angelica nourishes blood, while the tail of angelica breaks up blood. Functions and indications: Nourishes blood; promotes blood circulation; regulates menstruation and relieves pain; moisturizes and lubricates the intestines. It is used to treat various symptoms of blood deficiency; irregular menstruation; amenorrhea; dysmenorrhea; accumulation of masses; metrorrhagia; abdominal pain due to deficiency and cold; paralysis; numbness of the skin; dry intestines and constipation; heaviness after dysentery; carbuncles and ulcers; and injuries from falls. Dosage and Administration: For oral use: decoct in water, 6-12g; or make into pills, powder; or soak in wine; or apply as ointment. Additional prescription: Nosebleed that won’t stop. Use angelica, roast it dry and grind it into powder. Take one coin each time, mixed with rice soup. Blood in urine. Use 4 liang of angelica, grind it into powder, add 3 liters of wine, boil it into 1 liter, and take it under the eyes once. My head hurts. Use two liang of angelica, add one liter of wine, boil it into six he, drink it, twice a day. Pain in the arm. Use 3 liang of angelica, cut it into small pieces, soak it in wine for three days and then drink it. Drink it all, then take the next dose of medicine until you are well. Chronic diarrhea does not stop. Use 2 liang of Dangli and 1 liang of Evodia rutaecarpa and fry them together until fragrant. Remove the cornus officinalis and only grind the angelica into powder, add honey and make it into pills as big as walnuts. Take 30 pills for each eye with rice soup. This recipe is called "Shengjin Pills". Constipation. Use angelica and white angelica root in equal parts and grind into powder. Take 2 qian for each eye, with rice soup. As a relatively common medicinal material, Angelica sinensis does have many extensive medicinal values. We have made a detailed description above, and I believe everyone already knows it. Therefore, if you need to replenish blood on a daily basis, you can use angelica to do so, and the effect is very obvious. But I hope everyone will pay attention to controlling the amount when taking angelica. Eating too much may not be a good thing. |
