Acupuncture points on human feet

Many important acupoints are distributed on the human feet. This is an important reason why Chinese medicine practitioners recommend patients to soak their feet regularly. Because regular foot soaking can help stimulate the acupuncture points on the feet, promote blood circulation throughout the body, and thus play a role in preventing diseases. And proper massage of the acupoints on the feet can also have a good therapeutic effect on the body, so what are the main acupoints on the feet?

1. What are the acupuncture points on the feet?

1. Yongquan Point: Yongquan Point is located on the sole of the foot, in the depression at the front of the foot, 1/3 of the way between the second and third toe webs and the heel. We can massage this acupoint with a fist, nine times in the clockwise and counterclockwise directions. This method can effectively treat neurasthenia, insomnia, hypertension and other diseases.

2. Dadun Point: Dadun Point is located about 2 mm from the edge of the root of the big toe (on the side close to the second toe). This acupoint is very important. If we massage this position well, we can effectively treat abdominal pain, dizziness and other symptoms. However, it should be noted that when we take the acupoint, we usually adopt a sitting or supine posture.

3. Taichong Point: This point is located on the dorsum of the foot, at the connection between the first and second metatarsal bones. We can press this acupoint with our fingers for about three to five minutes, which can relieve toothache. What's more, massaging Taichong point can also effectively treat eye diseases and digestive system diseases.

4. Dahe Point: The origin of this name is mainly because the high temperature and high humidity of the Chong meridian in the human body are rushed out to the kidney meridian through this acupoint. It is located in the human abdomen, approximately four inches below the navel. The Dahe point can effectively dissipate heat and vital energy. Moreover, this acupuncture point has an obvious qi and blood substance, which is a strong high-temperature and high-pressure qi.

5. Taibai Point: Taibai Point is located on the medial edge of the foot, in the depression below and behind the head of the first metatarsal bone. If we want to find this acupuncture point on the foot quickly, we can lie on our back or lay our feet flat. This method can help us find the Taibai point quickly. Regular massage of this acupoint can help treat stomachache, abdominal distension, vomiting, diarrhea, dysentery and other diseases. In addition, Taibai acupoint is one of the important acupoints on the Taiyin spleen meridian of the human body. In short, regular massage of acupoints is beneficial to our body and has no harm.

6. Xingjian Point: This point can effectively treat eye diseases. It is located on the dorsum of the foot, in the depression at the boundary between the red and white flesh behind the suture of the big toe and the second toe, or more precisely, on the edge of the big toe. The Xingjian acupoint can treat leg cramps. Of course, the best method is to combine massage and acupuncture treatment with other acupoints, so that the effect will be better. Some people have symptoms of nocturia and irregular menstruation, which can be relieved by massaging the Xingjian acupoint.

We must not underestimate the role of acupoints in our daily lives. The acupoints on our feet determine whether our body is strong and in good health. In fact, some diseases can be relieved by massaging acupoints, so I hope that after understanding the acupoints on the feet, it can help you relieve your pain.
