Is a temperature of 37 degrees normal?

I believe everyone knows that humans are warm-blooded animals. So what is the stable body temperature of humans? We have learned from many sources that the human body temperature is roughly stable at around 37 degrees, but it is not always fixed. For example, the temperature of the body surface will increase after exercise, but after a period of time, the body temperature will return to normal. For humans alone, a body temperature of 37 degrees is normal.

However, the body temperature of 37 degrees is not always constant. It will be affected by a series of factors such as day and night, exercise or emotions. Although the body temperature will fluctuate, the fluctuation value will not be large, and it will basically return to normal body temperature quickly.

When in a healthy state, such as with a normal diet and appropriate clothing, the human body's temperature is generally relatively constant, maintaining at around 37°C (roughly between 36.2°C and 37.2°C), and does not change due to changes in the external ambient temperature. The average normal human body temperature is between 36 and 37 degrees Celsius (axillary). Exceeding this range is fever, below 38 degrees Celsius is low fever, and above 39 degrees Celsius is high fever. Temperatures above 40℃ can be life-threatening at any time. There are differences in body temperature between morning and evening, in different parts of the human body, and between men and women. The normal body temperature of the human body has a relatively stable range, but it is not constant. The normal oral temperature (also known as oral temperature) is 36.2℃~37.2℃, the axillary temperature is 0.2℃~0.5℃ lower than the oral temperature, and the rectal temperature (also known as anal temperature) is 0.2℃~0.6℃ higher than the oral temperature. During the day, body temperature is lowest between 2 and 5 in the morning and highest between 5 and 7 in the afternoon, but the temperature difference within a day should be less than 0.8℃. In addition, women's body temperature is generally about 0.35℃ higher than men's. Women's body temperature also changes slightly during menstruation.

At the same time, women's body temperature will be slightly higher than men's, and women's body temperature will also rise slightly before menstruation or during pregnancy, but it will not cause adverse effects on women's health. In addition, since the nervous system of newborns is not fully developed, their body temperature is more likely to fluctuate.
