It’s best not to use it to scrub your body after taking a bath, it’s harmful to your health!

In the past, when people took a bath, they always liked to use nylon bath towels that could be gloved. Most people thought that this was convenient and clean, and could save a lot of effort. But the fact is, a soft towel should be used for bathing, and it is best not to use a nylon bath towel.

The reason why nylon bath towels are not used is that if nylon bath towels are used improperly, for example, if too much force is used, it will often cause the keratin cells that have not yet completely keratinized to be exfoliated prematurely, or even the stratum corneum to be completely exfoliated, revealing the bright red stratum granulosum or stratum spinosum, which greatly weakens the skin's barrier protection function. The body is very susceptible to various damages from the external environment, and in the long run it is also likely to accelerate skin aging. Therefore, it is not recommended to use a bath towel for bathing.

Nowadays, more and more people have given up their ordinary towels and started using bath towels. However, scientific research shows that other than convenience, nylon washcloths offer little benefit to skin health. First of all, the hard and rough surface of the bath towel directly damages the skin, causing the keratinized layer of the epidermis to be rubbed excessively and fall off, thus weakening its protective effect. Secondly, if you do not pay attention to the hygiene of the bath towel when using it, it may also spread some skin infectious diseases.

Especially when sharing a bath towel with others, the chances of infection are greater. Frequent use of a bath towel can also easily lead to skin diseases such as boils and impetigo. Therefore, many doctors call on people to use nylon bath towels with caution or not at all. Even if they are used, they should not be rubbed too hard, and the whole family should not share one bath towel. Choose a bath towel with good texture, pay attention to the hygiene of the bath towel, and do not use too much force when using it. It can easily remove dirt and dead skin from the body without hurting the skin, and make the body feel comfortable.

It should be noted that patients with dry skin or skin diseases such as winter itch, ichthyosis, psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo, etc. should not use nylon bath towels. Firstly, if you use a nylon bath towel to clean excessively, it will rub off a large number of protective keratin cells on the skin surface, and wash away the chemical protective film formed by sweat and sebum, causing the disease to worsen.
