Use 6kg of licorice for every 100kg of Evodia rutaecarpa. ② Take clean Evodia rutaecarpa, add salt water and mix well, simmer for a while, put it in a frying container, heat it over a low heat, fry until it cracks and slightly swells, take it out and let it cool. Use 3kg of salt for every 100kg of Evodia rutaecarpa. ③ Take clean Evodia rutaecarpa, place it in a frying container, heat it over low heat, fry until it foams and becomes slightly darker than its original color, take it out and let it cool. 3. Clinical application 1. Raw use (1) Mouth ulcers: Grind this product into powder, mix with vinegar and apply to Yongquan acupoint. Remove after 24 hours. It can guide the fire downward and treat mouth and tongue ulcers caused by false fire, high blood pressure, etc. (2) Toothache: "Compendium of Materia Medica for Food Therapy" uses decoction of Evodia rutaecarpa and gargle with wine to treat toothache caused by wind and cold, which has the effect of dispelling cold and relieving pain. (3) Eczema: Grind this product into fine powder and make a 30% or 20% ointment with vaseline to treat chronic eczema; a 10% ointment can also be applied externally to treat impetigo. "Ancient and Modern Prescriptions" uses this product to boil water for three to five times, and washes the affected area externally. It is used for vulvar itching and sores, and can also treat various sores. 4. Preparation and use (1) Cold pain in the abdomen: It is often used together with roasted ginger, cinnamon (peeled), Sichuan pepper (fried until sweating), Magnolia officinalis (roasted with ginger juice), etc., to dispel cold and relieve pain. It is used for internal accumulation of yin and cold, abdominal distension and pain, such as Evodia rutaecarpa Decoction (Zonglu). If this product is used in combination with coptis root, pinellia tuber, papaya, etc., it can treat epigastric pain and inability to eat, vomiting after eating, and a stringy pulse, such as the newly formulated Evodia rutaecarpa Decoction (Jinkui Yi). (2) Vomiting: Vomiting caused by spleen and stomach deficiency and coldness is often treated with dried ginger, white atractylodes, pinellia, aconite, etc. to treat hiccups, vomiting of clear water or thin saliva, pain in the epigastric area, preference for heat and pressure, and has the effect of warming the middle and stopping vomiting. If liver fire attacks the stomach, it is often used together with Coptis chinensis, which can clear the liver and disperse fire, reduce adverse reactions and stop vomiting. It is used for bloating and pain in the ribs, acid regurgitation and vomiting, and abdominal distension and belching, such as Zuojin Pills (Handbook of Chinese Medicine Preparations).
