Pay attention to your diet and avoid eating too much raw, cold, or greasy food. Don't be too hungry or too full. Eat small meals frequently when necessary. Methods of TCM dialectical treatment of chronic gastritis:

1. Spleen and stomach deficiency and cold type: Spleen deficiency is more serious, spleen yang is insufficient, or eating too much raw and cold food damages spleen yang, causing yin and cold to accumulate inside. It manifests as dull pain in the stomach, which is relieved by warm pressure, pain is relieved after meals, pain is more severe on an empty stomach, and the limbs are cold. It is treated with Huangqi Jianzhong Pills (Decoction) to warm the spleen and stomach, relieve acute pain;

3. Liver Qi Invading the Stomach Type: Emotional distress, anger and depression damage the liver, liver Qi invading the stomach, Qi blockage, and abnormal ascending and descending, manifested as bloating and pain in the stomach and flanks, frequent belching, relieved after belching or passing gas, or accompanied by symptoms such as irritability, chest tightness, sighing, neck tightness, and a foreign body sensation in the throat. The treatment is to use Qizhi Weitong Granules to soothe the liver, regulate qi, and relieve stomach pain, or add Xiaoyao Pills or Yuanhu Pain-Relieving Tablets.
