Don't ignore these early symptoms of uremia!

Don't ignore these early symptoms of uremia!

Uremia is a very serious disease. It not only causes great harm to the patient's body, but also is very expensive to treat! It is not an independent disease but a syndrome caused by renal failure. So what are the early symptoms of uremia?

1. Drowsiness, fatigue, and yellow complexion are caused by anemia.

2. Increased nocturia. Normal people under 60 years old should not have nocturia. If young people have increased nocturia, it may be an early manifestation of nephrotic syndrome.

3. Hypertension. When the kidneys are damaged, they cannot excrete water and sodium normally, resulting in water and sodium retention in the body. In addition, when the kidneys are damaged, they will also secrete substances that increase blood pressure. Therefore, varying degrees of hypertension will occur in the early stages of uremia.

4. Edema. This is a relatively easy-to-detect phenomenon. The eyelids or face will be swollen after getting up in the morning, which will mostly subside in the afternoon, worsen after fatigue, and alleviate after rest. Severe edema may occur on the inner sides of the ankles, lower limbs, lumbar region, etc.

5. Low back pain. For back pain without a clear cause, you should check your kidneys, spine, and back muscles.

6. Digestive system absorption disorder. The retention of uremic toxins affects the digestive function and causes a decrease in appetite, which manifests as poor appetite, taste disorders, nausea and vomiting, etc. In rare cases, there may be diarrhea, abdominal distension and constipation. But most people don't associate it with uremia.
