Does urticaria itch?

I believe that everyone has heard about urticaria in life to some extent, because urticaria is a skin disease that often occurs in the human body, and many people have experienced urticaria. After urticaria appears on the skin surface of the body, these red rashes will quickly spread to other parts of the body, so the skin surface of most urticaria patients looks very scary. But can hives cause the same extreme itching that eczema causes?

Why does urticaria cause itching? First of all, when we suffer from urticaria, the most common condition is itchy skin, and sometimes wheals also appear. At the same time, the color of our skin also changes to bright red or pale. A small number of patients may also experience edema and erythema. Moreover, the size and shape of the wheals are different for each person, and the time of onset is not limited. If the symptoms of urticaria recover in a short time, it is acute urticaria. If the urticaria recurs at least twice a week for more than 6 weeks, it is called chronic urticaria. Whether it is acute urticaria or chronic urticaria, the cause of itching is mostly due to skin infection caused by lack of attention to hygiene, scratching with bacteria-containing hands due to failure to deal with mosquito bites in time, lack of attention to dietary hygiene and eating foods containing additives that irritate the skin, lack of attention to drug stimulation, skin itching caused by exposure to sunlight without taking proper sun protection measures, etc.

There are many types of triggers of urticaria, also known as "allergens", and they vary greatly from individual to individual. About 70% of patients cannot find the cause of the itching. Common causes of the disease include food (seafood, meat, eggs, etc.), inhalants (pollen, animal fur, dust mites, gas, etc.), lack of hygiene (bacteria, viruses, parasites, etc.), physical stimulation (cold and hot), mental factors, endocrine changes (menstruation, menopause, pregnancy, etc.), genetic factors, etc. Now we can determine the cause of skin itching due to urticaria by checking the allergens and determining their approximate types.

When urticaria causes skin itching, we must find solutions to the problem in a timely manner. Please do not be afraid if you are sick. First of all, it is necessary to change clothes and take a bath frequently and maintain healthy and good living habits. Secondly, if there are areas bitten by mosquitoes, they should be cleaned and disinfected in time to avoid bacterial growth, and avoid scratching with your hands. Then, be careful not to get too much sun exposure and avoid hot or cold irritation to the skin. We should also maintain a positive and optimistic attitude, exercise more, and keep our living environment ventilated to maintain endocrine stability.

Finally, we should also pay attention to the hygiene of the diet, the light taste, etc.

As the saying goes, "Diseases come from the mouth", which requires us to pay attention to dietary issues. For the sick, they should mainly eat light food, avoid spicy food, try to avoid fish, shrimp, crab and irritating food, avoid fried, greasy food, oily, high-sugar, too salty and other foods. Eat clean and easily digestible foods, such as noodles, rice, porridge, and fresh vegetarian foods. Generally, after 3-4 days, if the urticaria is alleviated, compare the food you ate before the rash appeared with the food you ate in the past 3-4 days to see if there is any difference. In this way, urticaria will gradually alleviate or heal. This is mostly caused by personal lifestyle habits, so we must look at the urticaria problem correctly, because for us, a healthy body is the most important!
