Safflower is pungent in taste and warm in nature, and it enters the heart and liver meridians. The aroma is dispersing and enters the blood, which has the effects of promoting blood circulation, dredge menstruation, removing blood stasis and relieving pain. It is mainly used to treat dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, postpartum blood loss, abdominal pain due to blood stasis, chest pain, blood stasis, bruises and swelling, joint pain, stroke paralysis, and purple macules.

How to soak your feet with safflower

Take 10-15 grams (about a small handful) of safflower and put it in a pot. Add half a pot of water, cover the pot and boil with hot water for about 10 minutes. After cooking, pour out all the ginger water and add appropriate amount of cold water to about 40℃ (generally it is best not to feel hot). When soaking your feet, the water should cover your ankles to prevent and improve frostbite. Every winter, some people's hands and feet often become chapped and broken, but once this happens, it takes a long time to recover. Choosing to soak your feet in safflower can also prevent this situation from happening to a certain extent.

If you use 30-50 grams of dried mugwort and 10-15 grams of safflower to boil water and use it for foot soaking, it can also improve blood circulation, prevent and relieve varicose veins and peripheral neuritis.

If your blood circulation is poor, your hands and feet are prone to numbness, or there is blood stasis in your lower limbs, you can soak your feet with these two herbs together.
