What is papule herpes? What are the symptoms of herpes papulosa? How to treat it?

Herpes papulosa is a common sexually transmitted disease in life. The disease occurs in clusters of blisters in the genital area. So what are the symptoms of herpes papulosa? How to treat herpes papules?

Papul-ovesicle:

There are small blisters on the top of the papules. Herpes is a sexually transmitted disease caused by the herpes simplex virus. It is a cluster of blisters that occur in the genital area and are prone to recurrence. Primary genital herpes begins with local redness, burning, and mild itching, which quickly turn into rice-sized red papules and quickly turn into blisters. After a few days, they form ulcers, scabs, and pain, and local lymph node enlargement.

Clinical manifestations of primary papulovesicles:

The incubation period is 2-10 days, with an average of 6 days. The affected areas in men are the foreskin, glans, coronal sulcus, and penis. It can occasionally be seen in the urethra, prostate and seminal vesicles; in homosexuals, it can occur in the anus and rectum; in women, it can occur in the vulva, labia majora and minora, clitoris, vagina, cervix, and can also occur in the anus, rectum and urethra. The symptoms of primary infection are often more serious. Before the blisters appear, there is often burning, itching or abnormal sensation at the injection site. Women have increased vaginal discharge, followed by local appearance of light red macules or papules. On this basis, clustered tense blisters the size of sesame seeds to mung beans quickly appear. The blister fluid starts out clear, but gradually becomes turbid or even purulent. The blister wall is thin and easily ruptured, forming a larger ulcer surface, which is painful and more obvious when touched.

Clinical manifestations of recurrent papule herpes:

It often occurs within 1-3 months after primary genital herpes. The recurrence rate and frequency of attacks caused by HSV-2 infection are also higher. About 60% of patients relapse within one year after the first infection, with 4-6 attacks in the first year and some experiencing more than 10 attacks. The symptoms of recurrent genital herpes are milder than those of primary genital herpes. Recurrent genital herpes may be accompanied by sacral radiculopathy: symptoms include pain or paresthesia in the buttocks or thighs, urinary retention, and erectile dysfunction. Other complications include proctitis, prostatitis, urethritis syndrome, etc. Women are 5-10 times more likely to develop cervical cancer than the general population.

Treatment of herpes papules:

Papuleherpes is difficult to treat, and many people will have relapses after treatment. There are many factors that lead to the recurrence of papule herpes, such as drinking, smoking, fatigue, cold, frequent sexual life and so on. Therefore, patients must pay attention to daily preventive care after treatment.
