Different parts of the body have different treatment options for herpes. Angular herpes is a common disease. So, how to treat angular herpes? 1. Local treatment (1) For blisters or obvious local redness and swelling, apply 3% boric acid solution or normal saline until the damage subsides. (2) Apply 1% to 2% gentian violet solution to the affected area twice a day. (3) Apply 3% acyclovir ointment topically several times a day. (4) Apply 0.5% neomycin ointment topically. 2. Systemic treatment (1) Intramuscular injection of immunoglobulin, once every other day, for a total of 3 to 4 times. (2) Take cimetidine orally, 3 to 4 times a day for 5 consecutive days. (3) Vitamins: Take oral vitamin C, vitamin B2 or vitamin B complex. (4) Acyclovir is taken orally, 5 times a day. For severe patients, the drug can be administered intravenously. Acyclovir can be added to 5% glucose injection and dripped intravenously, 2 to 3 times a day for 5 consecutive days. (5) Antibiotics (penicillin, cephalosporin) are used for patients with secondary infection. |
