What to do with facial nerve paralysis? Traditional Chinese medicine has a good way to treat it

Facial nerve paralysis is simply called facial palsy, and of course traditional Chinese medicine also calls it facial stroke. The most direct symptoms of facial nerve palsy are slurred speech and crooked mouth and eyes. Facial nerve paralysis can be treated with traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture.

1. Traditional Chinese medicine prescription

1: Use 20g white peony root, 15g angelica root, 6g white aconite root, 15g bombyx batryticatus, 15g cicada shell, 15g stir-fried earthworm, 10g scorpion, 10g siler, 10g ligusticum, 10g chuanxiong, 20g Uncaria rhynchophylla, 30g astragalus, and 2 centipedes (packed separately). Usage: Decoction the above medicines except centipede twice, take in the morning and evening, 1 dose per day. Roast the centipede on a tile until it is charred, grind it into fine powder, take with the medicine soup in 2 times.

2: Patching medication: divided into 2 groups. 1. 2 grams of musk, 1.5 grams of scorpion, 1.5 grams of white pepper, 1 gram of white flower snake, and 1 centipede. Grind together into fine powder. 2. Take 500g each of Chuanxiong and Angelica sinensis, 600g of Coptis chinensis, and 500g of vegetable oil, and fry them together until dry and remove the residue. Refine it until water drops into beads. Add 360g of yellow ochre, stir well, and collect it into a paste. Melt the paste over low heat, then add 286g of longicorn powder, stir well, and distribute it on paper. Each paste weighs 2g.

3: Stew fish head with Chuanxiong and Angelica dahurica water. 3-9 grams of Chuanxiong, 3-9 grams of Angelica dahurica, 500 grams of bighead carp head, and appropriate amounts of scallion, pepper, ginger and salt. Bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for half an hour. Eat the fish and drink the soup in the morning and evening. It can dispel wind and cold, promote blood circulation and dredge meridians, and is suitable for facial paralysis caused by exogenous wind evil.

2. Acupuncture therapy

1: Acupuncture techniques use deep piercing and heavy twisting. Acupoints: Hegu, Taichong, Cheek Cartilage, Dicang, Yingxiang, Fengchi, Chengjiang, Yangbai, Zanzhu, Yintang, Sibai.

2: Among them, Hegu and Taichong are the most effective points for head and face diseases. The "Ode to Hundred Symptoms" says well: "Taichong can relieve lip crookedness and heal quickly."

3: Fengchi and Yifeng both belong to Shaoyang, which has the effect of relieving wind evil and can dispel wind and relieve pain; Yangbai, Canzhu, Sibai, Dicang, Yintang, Yingxiang and Chengjiang all have the effect of dredging meridians and regulating Qi.

4: The use of acupuncture point method can also strengthen the regulation of meridian qi, such as Zanzhu through Yuyao and Dicang through Jiache. The Jade Dragon Song states clearly: "The most lamentable thing is the crooked mouth and eyes, the wonderful Dicang acupoint penetrates the cheek car."

3: Patients with facial nerve paralysis must

Actively accept examination and treatment, and also pay attention to check what type of facial nerve paralysis it is, so that targeted medication can be given. Also, pay attention to active exercise in life and avoid being overly busy and tired. Make sure you get enough rest and actively seek treatment for any illness you have.
