Nourishing yin and replenishing blood, these 5 great delicacies are worth a try!

To replenish qi and blood, any method in traditional Chinese medicine often mentions the techniques of nourishing yin and replenishing qi. So, how can women nourish their bodies or replenish their blood? What foods have the effect of replenishing qi and blood?

1. Pork ribs with angelica and red dates

Nourishes yin and moistens dryness, nourishes the skin. Suitable for people whose skin becomes dry, rough and itchy during the changing seasons.

Ingredients: one pork rib, appropriate amount of wolfberry, 10 red dates, and 4 slices of angelica.

Method: Blanch the ribs, wash off the blood, put them into a casserole, add wolfberry, red dates, angelica, onion, ginger slices, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat until the ribs are tender, add salt and chicken essence to taste.

2. Tremella and Red Dates Soup

Tremella is a cooling tonic that has the effect of moisturizing dryness. Dryness and irritability are like acute and chronic diseases; irritability comes quickly and goes away quickly.

3. Black glutinous rice blood-enriching porridge

Black glutinous rice, longan and red dates are known to be good blood tonics. Add to that the nutritious yam, and the effect of invigorating qi and nourishing blood is more significant. Remember to drink black glutinous rice, red dates, longan, yam and brown sugar every month. A small reminder: although longan can replenish qi and blood and promote blood circulation, it is not easy to digest, so only about 8 pieces can be consumed each time (those with cold stomach can add 2 slices of red ginseng).

4. Oatmeal porridge for beauty and blood

Soak walnuts, red dates and dried longan first. Wash the oats and pour them into the rice cooker, add appropriate amount of water and start cooking! Remember to watch the time! When the porridge boils, switch to the porridge cooking mode! Add some brown sugar before serving.

5. Shuanghong Blood-Nourishing Soup
