Arrhythmia precautions

Arrhythmia precautions

Arrhythmia is a common cardiovascular disease in our human body, and in today's society, the incidence of this arrhythmia is still quite high, and the consequences of arrhythmia are also very bad. Many times, many arrhythmia patients die suddenly unintentionally, and the reason is the onset of arrhythmia. There are many general precautions for arrhythmia, and paying attention to some aspects can also play an auxiliary role in the treatment of this disease.

We will all be accompanied by diseases throughout our lives; the key lies in the type of disease and the severity of the disease. In fact, dialectically speaking, the probability of disease attacking everyone is the same. However, this is not the case. Because everyone's physical fitness is different, everyone's chance of getting sick is also different. Let’s talk about what to pay attention to when having arrhythmia.

Arrhythmia is caused by abnormal excitation of the sinoatrial node or excitation generated outside the sinoatrial node, slow conduction, blockage or conduction through abnormal channels, that is, the origin and (or) conduction disorder of cardiac activity leads to abnormal frequency and (or) rhythm of heart beats. Arrhythmia is an important group of cardiovascular diseases. It can occur alone or in conjunction with cardiovascular disease. It can occur suddenly and cause sudden death, or it can persist and cause heart failure.

Arrhythmias can be seen in various organic heart diseases, among which coronary atherosclerotic heart disease (CHD), cardiomyopathy, myocarditis and rheumatic heart disease (RHD) are the most common, especially in heart failure or acute myocardial infarction. Arrhythmias occurring in basically healthy people or patients with autonomic dysfunction are also not uncommon. Other causes include electrolyte or endocrine disorders, anesthesia, hypothermia, chest or heart surgery, drug effects and central nervous system diseases, and some causes are unknown.

Note for patients with arrhythmia:

1. Treat it correctly and be open-minded. Don't worry about having arrhythmia. As long as it is detected and treated early, arrhythmia is not uncontrollable.

2. Actively treat the primary disease and take medicine on time as prescribed by the doctor.

3. Arrange rest and activities reasonably. Patients with arrhythmia should reduce fatigue, ensure adequate sleep, and exercise appropriately; only patients with severe arrhythmia and extremely poor heart function need to rest in bed for a long time.

4. Keep your emotions stable. Extreme excitement or excessive worry can cause arrhythmia.

5. Adjust your daily routine according to seasonal and climate changes, and take measures to prevent colds to avoid worsening of your condition.

6. Pay attention to a reasonable diet. It is advisable to eat light food and avoid overeating; drink less strong tea, coffee, cold drinks, etc.; quitting smoking and drinking is an important part of preventing arrhythmia.

7. Go to the hospital for regular check-ups and adjust medications appropriately.

It can be seen that there are many things to pay attention to when it comes to arrhythmia, which are generally manifested as: maintain a good attitude, actively seek treatment, pay attention to rest, ensure adequate sleep, eat a light diet and do not eat greasy food, do not drink strong tea and coffee, etc. Knowing so many precautions about arrhythmia, we can take better protective measures in the future.
