"Prevention, Treatment, and Maintenance" of Male Reproduction——Prostate

Prostatitis is a common disease in adult men and can be divided into acute prostatitis and chronic prostatitis. Although prostatitis does not directly endanger the patient's life, it brings a lot of inconvenience to the patient's life. So, what are the causes of prostatitis?

What are the causes of prostatitis?

1. Improper diet: The cause of acute prostatitis is related to improper diet. For example, if men drink a lot of alcohol or eat spicy and other irritating foods, it will cause acute congestion and edema of the prostatitis in men, and induce acute prostatitis.

2. Bacterial infection: Acute prostatitis is caused by bacterial infection. After men suffer from acute seminal vesiculitis, balanitis, urethritis and other diseases, the bacteria spread and infect the prostatitis, inducing acute prostatitis.

3. Excessive masturbation: Male masturbation is a normal way to release sexual desire, and appropriate masturbation is harmless to male friends. However, excessive masturbation can induce acute prostatitis, causing rapid congestion and edema of the prostate, which does not subside, thus causing the disease.

The dangers of prostatitis

1. Pain affects work and life. Due to the stimulation of inflammation, a series of symptoms occur, such as swelling and pain in the lumbar sacral area, perineum, testicles, incomplete urination, frequent urination at night, etc., which make patients irritable and affect their work and life.

2. Affect sexual function, leading to impotence and premature ejaculation. As the disease has not been cured for a long time, various symptoms and discomforts worsen after sexual intercourse, or directly affect the feeling and quality of sexual life, causing a vicious stimulation to the patient, and gradually a sense of disgust appears, leading to impotence, premature ejaculation and other phenomena.

3. Affect fertility and may lead to infertility. Long-term chronic inflammation causes changes in the composition of prostatic fluid and affects the secretory function of the prostate, which in turn affects the liquefaction time of semen and reduces sperm motility, which can lead to male infertility.

4. It can cause chronic nephritis and even develop into uremia. If prostatitis is not treated promptly, it can lead to prostate hyperplasia, which will compress the bladder outlet, preventing urine from being completely emptied and resulting in residual urine. Residual urine is a good culture medium for bacterial reproduction. In addition, the defense mechanism of the bladder mucosa is damaged, so it is very easy to cause urinary tract infections such as pyelonephritis. If the treatment is not thorough, it will develop from pyelonephritis, hydronephrosis, etc., and then develop into nephritis, and finally develop into uremia.

5. Cause endocrine disorders and mental abnormalities. Under normal circumstances, the prostate can secrete a variety of active substances. Due to inflammation of the prostate and endocrine disorders, neurasthenia and mental abnormalities may occur; symptoms such as insomnia, fatigue, dizziness, slow thinking, and memory loss may also occur.

Symptoms of prostatitis:

1. Urination: frequent urination, urgent urination, painful urination, burning sensation in the urethra, incomplete urination, sometimes difficulty urinating, frequent urination at night, etc.

2. White discharge from the urethra: White discharge from the urethra at the end of urination or defecation.

3. Pain: Due to continuous chronic inflammatory stimulation, there is severe tenderness and swelling in the perineum, anus, scrotum and other parts, which can often radiate to the pubic bone, lumbar sacral region, bilateral groin, perineum, and cause pain in the lower limbs. The symptoms are generally more obvious in the morning.

4. Changes in physiological functions: premature ejaculation, spermatorrhea, loss of libido or impotence. Some patients experience painful ejaculation and hematospermia. Chronic prostatitis is an important cause of some infertility.

5. Neurasthenia: insomnia, fatigue, dizziness, lack of self-confidence, depression, and memory loss.
