What to do if water gets into your ears and you have tinnitus? This is how you can get rid of tinnitus

In the hot summer, many people choose to go swimming to cool off and keep fit, but many times, after swimming, they find that water has entered their ears, causing tinnitus. There is no need to worry at this time. Just pour out the water in your ears and the tinnitus will naturally disappear.

1: Cotton swab absorbs water

1: Use a soft and clean cotton swab, sterilized cotton wool, or soft absorbent paper to roll it into a twist, gently insert it into the ear, and probe it into the external auditory canal. The twist will touch the water and absorb the moisture in the ear without damaging the ear canal.

2: Active external auditory canal

1: You can continuously press the tragus with your palm or pull the auricle with your fingers. Or repeatedly opening your mouth and moving the temporomandibular joint can make the skin of the external auditory canal move up and down and left and right or change the stability of the water barrier and the pressure, allowing water to flow out of the external auditory canal.

Three: Lying on your side

1: When you sleep, lie on your side, with the ear that has water in it facing downwards. Use the gravity of the water to allow the water in the ear to flow out by itself.

4. Press your ears with your hands

1: Spread your hands out in a palm shape, press into the water ears, and use the air pressure created by your hands on the ears to suck the water out.

5. Absorb water with your palms

1: Tilt the ear with water in it downward, press the palm of your hand tightly on the auricle, hold your breath, and then quickly release your palm. Repeat several times and the water will be sucked out.

6. Single-leg hopping

1: Lift the foot opposite the ear that has water in it, and keep jumping with the other foot to jump out the water. Stand on the shore, tilt your head toward the side where the water is, use the leg on that side to support your body, and jump in place several times to allow the water to flow out of your ears.

7. Chewing gum

1: Chewing gum continuously can create airflow and pressure in the ear canal, allowing water in the ear to flow out. This method is also quite effective.

8. Medical alcohol

1: In order to absorb excess water and kill bacteria and reduce inflammation, you can drop 3-6 drops of medical alcohol into the ear canal after bathing, wait for a while, and let it flow out naturally.

9. Atmospheric pressure method

1: Using the principle of atmospheric pressure, turn the ear with water upwards, pour water into it, and then suddenly pour out the water.

10: If water gets into your ears and you don’t

If it is not handled properly, it may cause infection of the skin of the external auditory canal and the tympanic membrane, or improper handling of water in the ear, such as unclean ear digging, etc., which may lead to external otitis, external auditory canal furunculosis, cerumen obstruction, tympanitis, and suppurative otitis media. At this time, you should go to the hospital for examination and symptomatic treatment.
