What should I do if I have tinea peduncle? Treatment of tinea pedis

Hand dermatitis is a common skin disease that can cause blisters, desquamation and other symptoms on the hands of patients, seriously affecting their normal life. Studies have found that the disease can be treated with anti-inflammatory, irritation-reducing, and nursing methods, with good results.

1. Anti-inflammatory treatment : Once it is confirmed that the hands are infected with fungi, timely treatment should be given to prevent the skin lesions from continuing to expand or become chronic. For keratotic tinea manuum with dry skin and obvious desquamation on the palms, you can soak the skin in 10% glacial acetic acid in the water 1 to 2 times a day for 15 minutes each time in the summer, which has a good therapeutic effect.

2. Pay attention to hand care : Before chapped hands occur, you should frequently apply oils, anti-cracking creams, hand creams, etc. to strengthen hand protection. You can also try to slightly thin the thickened and hardened skin on your palms, and then soak them in moderately hot water for 10 to 20 minutes to soften the skin. Generally, soak it in warm water 1 to 2 times and trim the palm skin 2 to 3 times a week.

3. Reduce external stimulation : Patients with tinea manuum should avoid washing with soap and try to avoid contact with irritating substances such as detergent, soap powder and other chemical products, and develop the habit of wearing protective gloves when working. If you have tinea pedis, you should cure it and avoid sharing face towels or bath towels to avoid spreading the disease. Do not share towels, washbasins, etc. with others to avoid the spread of fungi.

4. Seek timely treatment and do not delay to avoid causing greater harm and making future treatment more difficult.

Precautions

If you have tinea pedis, you must seek timely treatment. Do not treat it blindly. Choose a safe and non-irritating treatment method. Do not pursue speed of treatment or choose hormone-rich drugs, otherwise it will only aggravate the disease.
