But some people's conditions are more serious and they need to take isotretinoin orally to treat acne. You must have a full understanding of the drug when taking it.

The dosage and usage of isotretinoin capsules should be under the guidance of a doctor. The dosage for oral treatment of acne should vary from person to person, ranging from 0.1 to 1 (mg/kg)/day. The generally recommended starting dose is 0.5 (mg/kg)/day, taken orally in two doses. This drug is fat-soluble, and taking it with meals can promote absorption. After 2 to 4 weeks of treatment, the dosage can be adjusted as appropriate based on clinical effects and adverse reactions. One course of treatment is 6 to 8 weeks. The medication can be stopped for 8 weeks between courses. Symptoms can be continuously improved in the short term after stopping the medication.
