What are the symptoms of tinea pedis?

Tinea manuum is a common type of tinea manuum, which is mainly caused by fungal infection. Due to the different types of tinea pedis, the symptoms exhibited by patients are also different. Some have blisters, while others have dryness, roughness, and scaling.

(1) Vesicular type: The rash is composed of deep-seated small blisters, which are scattered or clustered, with a small amount of scales after rupture or absorption. The patient feels obvious itching, which is often followed by secondary infection due to scratching or picking at the blisters with a needle.

(2) Scaly type : characterized by hyperkeratosis, dryness, roughness, scaling, and a reddish base. It usually occurs in one hand, but can also affect both hands. The itching is perceived to be mild, and cracking and pain often occur in winter.

(3) Erosive type : mostly occurs between the fingers. The local epidermis is moist, whitish and infiltrated, and there is severe itching. After the epidermis is broken, a flushed eroded surface is exposed, and the patient will feel itching and burning pain. Secondary infection often occurs due to scratching.

The above are the different clinical manifestations of different types of tinea manuum. I hope everyone can seriously understand this knowledge, so that there will not be so many problems during treatment. For this disease, only symptomatic treatment can achieve the goal of cure.

We all know that in life, tinea manuum is a common skin disease, the main manifestations of which are erythema, blisters, scales and thickened keratinization, etc. It is also highly contagious. What is even more distressing is that it always recurs. We all care about the beauty of our hands, so we actively take care of them in normal times. But sometimes we don’t know why we get tinea manuum, and it’s very distressing to see our hands that have completely changed. So we need to discover it in time and treat it as soon as possible.
