What are the symptoms of mild depression?

If you put too much pressure on yourself in your daily life, you will be more likely to suffer from mild depression, which is mainly manifested in the patient's lack of interest and pleasure, hopelessness, helplessness, lack of motivation, worthlessness and uselessness.

1. No interest and no pleasure

: The original hobbies such as playing ball, singing, outings, chess, and cards have become boring, and it is impossible to enjoy the fun of life, let alone experience the happiness of family. Unable to experience the passion of love, losing the ability to love. Both sexual desire and appetite will decrease, and the whole person will become numb, with nothing to love and nothing to desire. This is the earliest prominent manifestation of mild depression recognized by doctors.

2. Hopelessness : People suffering from depression feel that their future is bleak. Whether it is their health, studies, or career, everything has become terrible and there is no hope.

It was as if the end of the world was approaching and his own soul was about to be destroyed. Fear crept into every corner of his life, devouring his soul and unknowingly weakening his confidence, even making him unable to decide on such trivial matters as what tie to wear or what to eat for lunch. He became at a loss and found it difficult to make a decision.

3. Helplessness: Depression is like a prison. It is not only lonely but also isolated. The patient will feel weak, helpless and that no one can rescue him. Everything is irreversible. What's even more terrifying is that he has no intention of breaking out because he thinks it's futile and impossible to succeed. All the comfort and pity could not penetrate the wall that separated him from the world, and no warm concern could touch his heart.

4. Lack of motivation : The patient is unwilling to go to work, unwilling to go out and socialize with others, and needs others to urge him/her in daily life such as eating and taking a bath. The patient feels that he/she is "collapsed", and has lost motivation both mentally and physically. He/she no longer has any demands and no hope for life. This is a prominent manifestation of mild depression.

5. Feeling of worthlessness and uselessness: The patient feels that he has no ability, can do nothing, is good for nothing, a puddle of mud, a complete waste, a parasite, and is of no use to society. His mental and physical strength are exhausted. He feels that he is a burden to others and often blames himself. This is one of the symptoms of mild depression.
