Why does my eardrum hurt?

Why does my eardrum hurt?

Although the ear is a relatively small organ, it can also have serious consequences if not properly cared for. So what causes eardrum pain? Pay attention to the cause of ear pain. For example, if it is caused by getting angry, you should reduce the fire first and take some medicines to clear away heat and detoxify. If the pain is caused by acute or chronic otitis media, it is even more important to take medication in time to avoid causing more serious diseases.

Ear pain is a common disease, which will undoubtedly affect one's normal work and study. The most common clinical disease is otitis media, which is an inflammatory disease involving all or part of the structure of the middle ear. Most of the lesions are non-specific inflammations, which manifest as ear pain, fever, chills, bitter taste in the mouth, red or yellow urine, constipation, hearing loss, etc. If the eardrum is perforated, pus will flow out of the ear and the pain will be relieved. Let me share with you what causes eardrum pain.

1. First: Many friends like to dig in their ears with their fingers when they feel uncomfortable in their ears. However, the skin in the ear canal is very fragile. If you use too much force or do this frequently, it is easy to puncture the skin in the ear canal, causing infection and inflammation. This will not only cause ear pain but may also be accompanied by bleeding.

2. Second: As we all know, the sound of a train running and its whistle are very harsh. The author's relative has lived next to the railway since he was a child, and suffers from this noise every day. He often has ear pains and tinnitus.

3. Third: Earwax, commonly known as earwax, is secreted by the cerumen glands under the skin of the ear canal. When there is a lot of earwax, it may clog the ear canal if it is not cleaned in time. When bathing or swimming, water easily enters the ears, causing the earwax to swell, compressing the ear canal and causing ear pain.

Note:

1. If it is a minor discomfort in the ear, you can put a few drops of medical alcohol in the ear. After a few seconds, use a cotton swab to put the ear to absorb the alcohol. 2. Clean earwax regularly. When we obviously feel that there is too much earwax, we can find a professional to clean it. They use professional equipment to effectively remove earwax without causing ear infection. If we clean it ourselves using an ear spoon, we must not go too deep and must sterilize it before cleaning.
