Gallstones require timely surgical treatment. If surgery is not performed in time, it will have a great impact on the liver and pancreas. Gallstones generally recover well after surgery, but some people may also experience a series of syndromes such as diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, and indigestion. 1. Some syndromes may occur after cholecystectomy Half of PCS patients experience abdominal pain or "indigestion" (fullness in the upper or right upper abdomen, borborygmus, nausea, vomiting, constipation, fat intolerance or diarrhea, etc.) within a few weeks after surgery, while the other half experience symptoms within months or years after surgery. Symptoms are nonspecific and vary depending on the underlying cause but often include pain in the right upper quadrant or epigastric region that is sharp and often occurs after meals. Other symptoms may include heartburn, belching, vomiting, and intolerance to fatty foods. A small number of patients may have severe cholecystitis or pancreatitis, with severe pain and possibly accompanied by fever, jaundice, or vomiting. Examination of such patients is more likely to reveal a specific disorder than that of patients with milder or no specific symptoms. Physical examination is usually of no particular value except for detection of palpable jaundice. 2. What to eat for post-cholecystectomy syndrome 1. Yam and jujube porridge: 150 grams of yam, 9 jujubes, and 100 grams of rice. Wash the yam, peel it and cut it into small pieces; remove the impurities from the jujube and rice, wash them and set aside. Add appropriate amount of water to the pot, put in dates and rice to cook porridge. When it is half cooked, add yam pieces and continue to cook until the porridge is done. 1-2 times a day, can be consumed for a long time. When the taro is half cooked, add in the taro cubes and continue cooking until the porridge is done. Take twice a day, can be consumed for a long time. Gantou is mild in nature, sweet and spicy in taste, and has the effects of regulating the middle and replenishing qi, resolving phlegm and harmonizing the stomach, softening and dispersing lumps. Pork has the effects of nourishing kidney yin, nourishing liver blood, and moisturizing the skin. Corn is rich in nutrients and has the effect of regulating the stomach and strengthening the brain.
