How can wounds heal faster in summer?

How can wounds heal faster in summer?

Wounds heal more slowly in the summer, mainly because the weather is hotter and bacteria grow faster. At this time, anti-inflammatory measures should be taken in time to avoid infection. When a wound occurs, it should be cleaned in time, and then hydrogen peroxide or other anti-inflammatory medicines should be used for anti-inflammatory treatment. For more serious wounds, heavy bleeding may occur easily. At this time, pressure hemostasis can be used, and then medical treatment should be sought in time.

How can wounds heal faster in summer?

1. General wound treatment: 1.1.1. Wash your hands and clean the wound with boiling water. 1.1.2. Apply disinfectant. Such as hydrogen peroxide. Disinfectants or anti-inflammatory drugs that are too irritating will damage the wound tissue, so use them with caution. 1.1.3. Cover with sterilized gauze and bandage to secure.

Emergency treatment of serious wounds:

1. Compression hemostasis

Press the wound directly with gauze, handkerchief or towel, and then bandage the wound tightly. This may temporarily slow the bleeding.

2. Hemostatic point pressure method

The so-called hemostasis point is the artery point near the heart near the bleeding wound. Find the hemostasis point and press it hard to prevent the blood flowing from the heart from flowing smoothly to the wound, thereby reducing the amount of bleeding.

3. Tourniquet hemostasis method

In case of severe bleeding, tie a cloth strip, triangular bandage or rope around the bleeding point and tie it tightly; loosen it slightly every fifteen minutes to avoid tissue necrosis. It is best to seek medical attention within forty minutes.

If it is a small wound, you can rinse it slightly with clean water or saline (rinse around the wound in a circular shape), then disinfect it with a cloth and bandage it. Do not use cotton! Please use clean gauze, and you don't need to bandage the wound when it is hardened! If it is a very large wound, do not rinse it. Stop the bleeding first and then cover it with clean gauze. Do not try to remove the blood clot forcefully, as this will cause a second wound.

What to do if the wound becomes festering in summer

If the patient's wound suppuration symptoms are mild, you can use hydrogen peroxide to rinse the wound, clean the pus and foreign matter in the wound, and then rinse the wound with saline and bandage it with sterile gauze. Change the wound dressing every day until the wound heals.

If the patient's wound has severe suppuration symptoms, proper debridement and drainage are required. Remove the necrotic tissue and pus from the wound surface, and use Yu's wound healing prescription and other drugs to promote wound healing for auxiliary treatment after debridement. Compared with conventional dressing changes, the healing speed is faster.

During the process of wound suppuration, you can also take some anti-inflammatory drugs such as cephalosporin and amoxicillin orally under the guidance of a doctor to control wound inflammation and thus control the symptoms of wound suppuration.

Precautions for wound suppuration in summer

If the patient's wound repeatedly becomes festered, it is considered that there is a deep lesion and the patient needs to go to the hospital for examination and treatment in time. At the same time, some patients with old leg ulcers and diabetes are also very likely to experience the above symptoms due to illness and need to seek medical treatment in time to avoid serious harm caused by the disease.
