Kidney function test items, 12 key reference standards!

Kidney function test items, 12 key reference standards!

The kidneys are an important part of the human body. Any abnormality in them can cause the patient to experience back pain, changes in urine volume, etc. In order to check whether there are symptoms of renal function, 12 items including blood urea nitrogen (BUN), blood creatinine (Scr), blood urea, blood uric acid, urine creatinine (Cr), and urine protein are important examination items.

1. Blood urea nitrogen (BUN)

Reference values: Normally, the diacetyl-oxime colorimetric method uses 1.8 to 6.8 mmol/L, while the urease-natrium colorimetric method uses 3.2 to 6.1 mmol/L.

2. Serum creatinine (Scr)

Reference values for normal conditions: Adults: Male 79.6-132.6 μmol/L, Female 70.7-106.1 μmol/L, Children 26.5-62.0 μmol/L,

Whole blood 88.4~159.1μmol/L.

3. Blood urea

The normal reference value is 3.2~7.0mmol/L.

4. Serum uric acid

Reference values Normal adults: male 149 ~ 417μmol / L, female 89 ~ 357μmol / L, > 60 years old: male 250 ~ 476μmol / L,

Female: 190~434μmol/L.

5. Urine creatinine (Cr)

Reference values for normal situations are 88-176 μmmol?kg-1/d for infants, 44-352 μmol?kg-1/d for children, and 7-8 mmol/d for adults.

6. Urine protein

The reference value is normal and qualitatively negative.

7. Selective Proteinuria Index (SPI)

Under normal reference values, SPI < 0.1 indicates good selectivity, and SPI 0.1-0.2 indicates average selectivity.

8. β2-microglobulin clearance test

The normal reference value is 23 to 62 μl/min.

9. Urea removal rate

Reference value Normal standard clearance value 0.7~1.1ml?s-1/1.73 m2 (0.39~0.63ml?s-1/m2) Maximum clearance value

1.0~1.6ml?s-1/1.73 m2 (0.58~0.91ml?s-1/m2).

10. Blood endogenous creatinine clearance

Reference value: Normal plasma: 0.80~1.20ml?s-1/m2 for adults; Urine: 0.45~1.32ml?s-1/m2 for male adults

For women: 0.85~1.29ml?s-1/m2. For those over 50 years old, the serum serum level decreases by 0.006ml?s-1/m2 every year.

11. BUN/creatinine ratio (BUN)

The normal reference value is 12:1 to 20:1.

12. Phenol red (phenolsulfone) excretion test (PSP)

Reference value: Normal situation: 15min0.25~0.51(0.53), 30min0.13~0.24(0.17)

, 60min0.09~0.17(0.12), 120min0.03~0.10(0.06), total amount in 120min0.63~0.84(0.70).
