What causes burping and acid reflux?

If you often burp and have acid reflux, you should pay attention to the factors causing it. For example, abnormal gastroesophageal function or organic changes, as well as problems such as irritability and high stress may cause these adverse symptoms. It is recommended to pay attention to emotional regulation to improve these conditions.

1. Hiccups are often caused by overeating. There are many causes of hiccups, including functional or organic changes in the stomach or esophagus. It is also caused by external substances, biochemical and physical stimulation. For example: too much air enters the stomach and overflows from the mouth, psychoneurological factors (such as vagus nerve excitement, pyloric spasm), bad eating habits (such as eating or drinking too quickly), excessive swallowing movements (such as too much or too little saliva), etc.; when gastrointestinal neurosis and chronic gastrointestinal diseases cause weakened gastric motility, the incidence rate is frequent and difficult to improve during treatment.

2. Don't be anxious or irritable when hiccups occur. If it is caused by overeating or eating too quickly, it will automatically relieve within a few minutes. If it is caused by chronic diseases, it will be fine after antispasmodic and gastric motility enhancement treatment. However, do not drink cold drinks or do strenuous exercise when you are burping.

3. Distract attention, eliminate tension and negative stimulation.

4. Take a deep breath first, then hold it for as long as possible, then exhale, and repeat several times.

5. Drink boiled water, especially slightly hot boiled water. Take a big sip and swallow it in several times.

6. Wash your hands, insert your index finger into your mouth, and gently stimulate your throat.

7. Put the mixed gas into a plastic bag and inhale it. The mixed gas contains 90% oxygen and 10% carbon dioxide. 6. Chew ginger slices.

8. Wash the raw leeks, squeeze out the juice and drink it orally.

9. Take 20 persimmon stalks (referring to the stalks of fresh persimmons or persimmon cakes), decoct them in water into 100 ml, and take orally in two doses, 50 ml each time. You can also add leek seeds when frying.
