What are the methods of traditional Chinese medicine for treating hemorrhoids?

Traditional Chinese medicine is also a common method for treating hemorrhoids, but not everyone knows which medicine is effective. In fact, Purslane, Sophora japonica tea, and some other Chinese medicine external plasters and fumigation methods are better for treating hemorrhoids.

1. Purslane

It has the effects of clearing away heat and detoxifying, reducing swelling and dispersing blood. It is an intestinal anti-inflammatory drug and is suitable for people with itching, swelling and pain inside or around the anus. There are many ways to eat Purslane. It can be eaten alone as a cold dish, or it can be blanched in boiling water with Houttuynia cordata, then mixed with lard, vinegar and a small amount of salt.

2. Sophora japonica tea

Drinking tea made directly from the Chinese medicinal plant Sophora japonica fruit can clear away heat and cool blood, reduce swelling and relieve pain. It has a good therapeutic effect on hemorrhoid bleeding caused by damp heat, internal hemorrhoids, external hemorrhoids and mixed hemorrhoids.

3. Chinese medicine external application

Take 15 grams of Chinese medicine catechu, 7.5 grams of roasted light powder, 10 grams of dragon bone, and 5 grams of borneol, grind the above medicines into fine powder, then add appropriate amount of water to make a paste and apply it to the affected area.

4. Chinese medicine fumigation

Take 60 grams of Rehmannia glutinosa, 9 grams of Cimicifuga heracleifolia, 12 grams of peach kernel, 60 grams of Sophora japonica flower, 60 grams of Sanguisorba officinalis, 30 grams of Chrysanthemum indici, 30 grams of Patrinia herb, and 30 grams of Gallnut. Boil the above medicines in water, remove the residue, and fumigate and wash the anus for dozens of minutes while it is hot, 2-3 times a day. It can be used continuously for 1 week to treat external hemorrhoids.
