Treatment method: Warming and tonifying the spleen and kidneys, consolidating and stopping diarrhea.

IV. Treatment of proctitis - intestinal stasis type

With prolonged diarrhea, pathogenic factors enter the collaterals, blood stagnates in the intestinal collaterals, and pain occurs when the blood is blocked. Therefore, there is stabbing pain in the abdomen, the pain is localized, and it hurts more when pressed. The blood stasis blocks the qi, so there is a feeling of incomplete bowel movement after diarrhea. The mouth is dry and there is no desire to drink, the complexion is dull, there are ecchymosis on the edges of the tongue, the tongue is dark red, and the pulse is stringy and astringent. These are all signs of internal blood stasis.

Treatment: Remove blood stasis and dredge meridians, harmonize the circulation of blood and stop bleeding.
