Bupleurum 9g, Angelica 15g, White Peony 15g, Poria 10g, Atractylodes 10g, Licorice 6g, Mentha 6g, Ginger 10g, Moutan Bark 9g, Gardenia 9g, Coptis 10g, Evodia rutaecarpa 3g. If the depression is more severe, add Cyperus rotundus, Citrus aurantium, and Fructus Corydalis; if the eye pain is severe and the redness is more severe, add Semen Cassiae, Cassiae Officinalis, and Herba Prunellae; if the vomiting is more severe, add Inula japonicae and Hematite to enhance the ability to reduce adverse reactions and stop vomiting.

If the deficiency of Yin is obvious, add Ligustrum lucidum, Schisandra chinensis, and Cornus officinalis; if the fire is strong, add Anemarrhena asphodeloides, Phellodendron chinense, and Prunella vulgaris; if the patient is restless and insomnia, add Gardenia jasminoides; raw oysters and fried jujube seeds.

3. Phlegm and fire cause wind

Treatment method: Clear fire and expel phlegm, calm the liver and extinguish wind.

Prescription: General Pain-Relief Pills with modifications. 10g of Rhubarb, 10g of Scutellaria baicalensis, 10g of Bombyx batryticatus, 10g of dried tangerine peel, 6g of Gastrodia elata, 6g of Platycodon grandiflorum, 20g of Celery, 6g of Angelica dahurica, 6g of Menthus fragrans, and 10g of Pinellia ternata. For those with excessive phlegm and fire, add aloe vera, orange peel, and processed Gallbladder Star to enhance the effect of reducing fire and expelling phlegm; for those with severe chest and abdominal fullness, remove Platycodon grandiflorum and Angelica dahurica, and add Alisma orientalis, fried radish seeds, and white mustard seeds.

4. Drinking evil and causing harm

Treatment method: Warm and transform cold drinks, reduce adverse effects and relieve pain.

Prescription: Evodia rutaecarpa decoction (from Shenshi Yaohan) with modifications. 12g of ginger-processed Evodia rutaecarpa, 12g of ginseng, 6g of roasted licorice root, 10g of Chuanxiong, 20g of Poria, 10g of white indigo, and 10g of dried tangerine peel.
