Why do I feel pain around my chest?

Why do I feel pain around my chest?

If you feel some pain around your chest, you should not delay treating the disease, because this symptom may be caused by many chronic diseases. The most common one is cardiovascular disease, which mainly occurs in middle-aged and elderly people. When chronic diseases such as angina pectoris and myocarditis occur, it will cause chest pain. You must go to the hospital for relevant examinations before a clear diagnosis can be made.

1. Chest wall disease

Acute dermatitis, subcutaneous cellulitis, herpes zoster, epidemic chest pain, myositis, non-suppurative costochondritis, intercostal neuritis, rib fracture, acute leukemia, multiple myeloma, etc.

2. Cardiovascular disease

Angina pectoris, acute myocardial infarction, myocarditis, acute pericarditis, mitral valve or aortic valve disease, aortic aneurysm, rupture of aortic sinus aneurysm, dissecting aneurysm, pulmonary infarction: pulmonary hypertension and cardiac neurosis, etc.

3. Respiratory diseases

Pleurisy, pleural tumors, spontaneous pneumothorax, pneumonia, acute tracheobronchitis, lung cancer, etc.

4. Mediastinal disease

Mediastinitis, mediastinal abscess, mediastinal tumor, esophagitis, hiatal hernia, esophageal cancer, etc.

5. Others

Subphrenic abscess, liver abscess, splenic infarction, etc.

Due to the influence of anxiety, tension, emotional excitement, mental trauma and other factors, the central excitation and inhibition processes are disturbed, and the cardiovascular system regulated by the autonomic nervous system also becomes disordered, causing a series of symptoms of excessive sympathetic nerve tension. In addition, excessive fatigue, too little physical activity, and lack of proper exercise of the circulatory system result in the inability to adapt to the slightest activity or fatigue, thus producing excessive cardiovascular response and causing this disease.

Cardiac neurosis is a type of systemic neurosis (i.e. the manifestation of autonomic dysfunction in the cardiovascular system). Its symptoms are varied. The most common subjective symptoms are palpitations, dyspnea, precordial pain and general fatigue. There are also manifestations such as irritability, insomnia, sweating, trembling, dizziness and nightmares.

Although this disease is not life-threatening, the condition fluctuates and is difficult to cure. In severe cases, patients cannot even live and work normally, causing great pain to the patients. Since the heart of patients with this disease has no organic pathological changes, it has not received enough attention for a long time. In clinical practice, due to the lack of effective diagnostic methods and treatment measures, missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis are not uncommon, especially when the disease has a small amount of premature beats or ST-T changes.

If no further examinations are done to exclude the disease, patients are often mistakenly diagnosed with viral myocarditis or coronary heart disease and treated, which can have the opposite effect. - Special treatment for cardiac neurosis: Jieyu Kangxue Capsules.
