Acne occurs when there is an excess of sebum on the surface of the skin and it clogs the pores. This sebum is an oily substance produced by the sebaceous glands under the skin. Bacteria multiply on the sebum that cannot be discharged, and two types of acne will occur: one is miliaria, which indicates that the hair follicles or pores are blocked; the other is blackheads, which indicates that sebum overflows and turns black.

First of all, we need to prevent pores from being clogged. The most important thing is not to use heavy makeup or creams, which will make already clogged pores even worse. If you already have acne, heavy makeup is the biggest taboo of all. It will make your acne more "aggravated" and "complicated", and you will not know how chemically synthetic cosmetics will work together with bacteria to destroy your beautiful face. Refreshing is a key to dealing with acne. Refreshing can relieve skin congestion. In addition, removing oil that allows bacteria to multiply will also cut off the acne's chance of recovery. So first of all, you need to cleanse and wash your skin thoroughly. It is best not to use tap water directly for washing, because tap water contains chlorine bleach and bacteria that cause facial inflammation. The chlorine component will irritate the skin and cause more acne, and the bacteria in tap water will complicate the situation. So it is best to wash your face two or three times a day with warm water, neutral soap and a fluffy towel.

In addition to keeping it fresh, avoiding over-irritating the skin is another key to prevention. Excessive sunlight can activate sweat glands and sebaceous glands, which can clog pores and increase inflammation.

Long-term excessive drinking will turn the blood into weak acid and accelerate blood circulation, which will indirectly lead to the formation of acne and cause acne outbreaks. Eating fruits in time can solve this problem.

Don't stay up late, especially don't stay up too late. The golden period of skin metabolism is 11pm...2am, so you know. Otherwise, you may see "new" acne on your face the next day;

Try to eat less snacks and sweets. Excessive intake of sugar and carbohydrates can easily cause the formation of acne.

Be cautious about eating raw, cold, greasy, and spicy foods. Eat less iodine-rich foods, and make sure to excrete them completely and promptly if you do eat them.
