What is the reason for vomiting due to stomach pain?

Abdominal pain and vomiting are relatively common symptoms. There are many reasons for diarrhea and vomiting, for example, gastroenteritis, eating some unclean food, which can easily cause such phenomena. In addition, if there is a viral infection or a fungal infection, it may cause such symptoms. At this time, you must adjust your condition in time, drink plenty of water, and seek medical attention in time if it is serious.

Acute diarrhea

1. The course of acute diarrhea usually does not exceed 3 weeks. Intestinal infection, including food poisoning, is the most common cause of acute diarrhea, which can be divided into:

1. Bacterial infection: Common pathogens include Shigella dysenteriae, Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Campylobacter intestinalis, Yersinia enterocolitica, Staphylococcus aureus, Clostridium perfringens, Clostridium difficile, Vibrio cholerae, etc.

2. Protozoan and parasitic infections: including amoeba, schistosoma, trichomonas, and giardia pirinae.

3. Viral infection: more common in intestinal rotavirus infection and intestinal adenovirus infection.

4. Fungal infection: There are many fungi that can cause diarrhea, such as mold in expired food.

5. Food poisoning: Common pathogens include Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella, Halobacterium, Bacillus cereus, Clostridium perfringens or Clostridium botulinum; poisonous mushrooms, puffer fish, large fish gallbladders, rat poison, pesticides and other toxic chemical toxins.

6. Allergic reactions: Food allergies (milk, fish, shrimp, seafood products, etc.) can cause abdominal pain and diarrhea; diseases such as allergic purpura can be accompanied by increased intestinal motility and diarrhea.

7. Drugs: Many drugs can cause diarrhea, such as erythromycin, magnesium hydroxide, neomycin, lincomycin, magnesium sulfate, sorbitol, mannitol, 5-fluorouracil, reserpine (reserpine), propranolol (propranolol), etc. The mechanisms by which these drugs cause diarrhea are different; certain chemicals such as phosphorus, arsenic, mercury and alcohol poisoning can cause acute diarrhea.

2. Chronic diarrhea

1. Intestinal infection: It is the most common cause of chronic diarrhea, including bacterial infection, protozoan and parasitic infection, and fungi.

2. Nonspecific or non-infectious inflammation of the intestine: autoimmune diseases, autoimmune diseases, enteritis caused by radiotherapy, malabsorption syndrome, etc.

3. Malabsorption syndrome: The classification of malabsorption syndrome is very complex. Malabsorption can be caused by stomach and small intestine diseases, or by liver, gallbladder, and pancreas diseases.

4. Endocrine diseases: Many endocrine diseases are accompanied by symptoms of diarrhea, such as hyperthyroidism, diabetes, hypoparathyroidism and medullary thyroid tumor, adrenocortical insufficiency, pancreatic cholera syndrome, WDHA syndrome, watery diarrhea-hypokalemia-achlorhydria syndrome or vasoactive intestinal polypeptide tumor, gastrinoma.

5. Tumor diseases: gastrointestinal malignant lymphoma, carcinoid syndrome, colon cancer, intestinal adenomatous polyps or polyposis.

6. Gastrointestinal functional disorders: Irritable bowel syndrome includes mucous colitis, irritable colon or allergic colitis.

7. Other factors: intestinal flora imbalance and uremia.
