Herbal remedies for diarrhea

Diarrhea is a very common disease. Many people will experience diarrhea when they accidentally eat some foods that can cause diarrhea or when they suffer from gastrointestinal diseases. There are many ways to effectively treat diarrhea, such as using Chinese herbal medicine. Of course, different important formulas are needed for different symptoms of diarrhea!

1. Cold and dampness syndrome

1. Lotus seed and ginger porridge: 50 grams of lotus seeds, 30 grams of ginger, 30 grams of brown sugar, and 100 grams of polished rice. Boil the lotus seeds and glutinous rice for half an hour, then add ginger and sugar and cook for 10 minutes before eating.

2. Aconite porridge: 10 grams of roasted aconite (pre-boil for 1 hour), 30 grams of ginger, and 100 grams of glutinous rice. Cook for 1 hour and then make porridge.

3. Bayberry wine: 20 bayberries, 500 ml of white wine, seal it and drink it after 3 days.

2. Damp-Heat Syndrome

1. Purslane and mung bean soup: 200 grams of purslane, 50 grams of mung beans, 5 heads of garlic, and appropriate amount of salt. Cook for 1 hour before drinking.

2. Bitter melon with garlic paste: 100 grams of bitter melon, 1 head of purple garlic. Cut the bitter gourd into shreds, mash the garlic, add rice vinegar, soy sauce and sesame oil and mix well.

3. Purslane porridge: 100 grams of fresh purslane, 30 grams of coix rice, and 50 grams of japonica rice, cook them together into porridge and eat.

3. Weak spleen and stomach syndrome

1. Gorgon fruit, coix seed and yam porridge: 30 grams of Gorgon fruit, 30 grams of fried coix seed, 50 grams of yam, 100 grams of glutinous rice, and 30 grams of sugar. Cook together into porridge.

2. Lotus seed and jujube porridge: 30 grams of lotus seeds, 10 jujubes, 30 grams of yam, 30 grams of lily, and 100 grams of glutinous rice. Cook together into porridge and eat.

3. Rice ginger tea: 15 grams of tea, 10 grams of ginger, 7 dates, and 30 grams of rice, cook them together into porridge and eat.

4. Food Injury

1. Hawthorn and yam porridge: 30 grams of hawthorn, 30 grams of yam, 100 grams of polished rice, and appropriate amount of brown sugar. Cook into porridge and eat.

2. Hot and sour soup: 60 grams of charred hawthorn, 6 grams of pepper, and 30 grams of brown sugar. Boil the charred hawthorn in water to extract the juice, then add pepper powder and brown sugar and mix well.

5. Foods often chosen when having diarrhea

Stir-fried coix seed, water chestnut seed, lotus seed, lily, yam, jujube, water chestnut, longan, pomegranate, lemon, fennel, mushroom, coriander, ginger, cooked lotus root, potato, wild rice stem, purslane, dandelion, bitter herb, seaweed, pepper, cinnamon, mustard, Sichuan pepper, black tea, rice wine, brown sugar, and vinegar.
