What ointment is most effective for sweat rash

Heat rash is common in adolescents. Symptoms worsen in summer and can heal on their own in winter, but it will recur in the summer of the following year. The outbreak of heat rash in summer is usually accompanied by symptoms of excessive sweating of the hands and feet. Drug interference treatment can be effective in treating heat rash. Heat rash is blisters under the epidermis, which generally will not break on their own. When healed, the blisters will shed to reveal pink new skin. The editor will introduce it in detail below.

Overview

Dyshidrosis, also known as dyshidrotic eczema, is a blistering disease of the palms and soles of the feet. This disease often occurs in late spring and early summer, worsening in summer and healing on its own in winter. More common in teenagers.

Clinical manifestations

It usually begins in late spring and early summer, worsens in summer and heals itself in winter. It often coexists with excessive sweating of the hands and feet, and recurs regularly every year. It often occurs on the palms, fingertips, and sides of fingers, rarely on the backs of hands and soles, and often occurs symmetrically.

Typical skin lesions are small blisters located deep in the epidermis, the size of rice grains, hemispherical, slightly higher than the skin surface, with no inflammatory response, scattered or clustered on the palms, sides and fingertips, rarely on the back of the hands and soles of the feet, and often distributed symmetrically. The blisters contain clear serous fluid and generally do not rupture on their own. After drying, they peel off and reveal the red new epithelium, which is thin and tender and often painful. The surrounding skin was normal. This disease has varying degrees of itching and burning sensation.

Oral medication

Short-term oral administration of prednisone is more effective, and sedatives can be appropriately used for those who are mentally nervous.

Topical medications

In the early stage, the main treatment is drying and relieving itching. You can apply 1% phenol calamine lotion externally. When peeling begins, you can use glucocorticoid cream or ointment. For those with repeated local peeling, dryness and pain, you can apply 2% to 5% salicylic acid ointment, allantoin ointment, etc.

Chinese Medicine

Oral medication should be used to strengthen the spleen and eliminate dampness, and the prescription can be Jianpi Chushi Decoction or Chushi Pills. Use Cangfu water or Gankudzu water for external washing.
