Precautions for disposable intravenous catheters

A disposable intravenous catheter is a relatively common medical device. When using it, you must be aware of some precautions and must use it in accordance with strict operating specifications. If the packaging is found to be damaged before use, it is strictly prohibited to use it. If infection occurs during the next puncture, it should be stopped immediately. This product generally has a shelf life of three years and is a disposable product. It is strictly forbidden to use it again.

Notes 1. The use of the product must comply with the relevant operating specifications of the medical department and the requirements of relevant regulations, and is limited to use by trained doctors or nursing staff. 2. Check the smallest package before use and do not use it if it is damaged. 3. Once the needle is fully or partially withdrawn, it cannot be used again. 4. The puncture site should be checked regularly. If there are signs of local or body infection, use should be stopped immediately. 5. Once this product is used up, the needle and catheter should be discarded immediately and placed in a special waste box. 6. This product is a one-time use product and secondary use is strictly prohibited. 7. Under storage conditions, the product has a shelf life of three years. Storage Method This product should be stored in a cool, dry, clean, well-ventilated environment without corrosive gases.

Operation method: 1. Remove the protective cover and puncture the blood vessel according to the aseptic operation specifications. The recommended puncture angle is 15°~30°. The puncture was successful when blood returned from the needle seat. The needle is then removed, leaving the catheter in the blood vessel. 2. Connect the infusion set cone to the tube body, and use medical tape to fix the tube body to the human body, and then you can start the infusion. 3. After the infusion is completed, if you want to keep the fluid in the human body for another infusion, you should inject some anticoagulant into the catheter line and cover the tube mouth with a protective cap. When you want to infuse the fluid next time, remove the protective cap and proceed with step 2. 4. If swelling is found at the infusion site during use of this product, it means that the infusion has not entered the blood vessel and the patient should be re-punctured according to steps 1 and 2 using sterile techniques. 5. A three-way cone head can also be connected to the tube body, which is prepared by the user according to clinical needs.

Warning 1. Do not use if leakage is found. 2. Do not use the catheter if any creases are found. 3. Do not use the needle if it shows signs of breakage.
