Cefazolin sodium is a relatively common drug in real life. Cefazolin sodium has a very powerful anti-inflammatory effect. After taking it, it can effectively treat upper respiratory tract infections, arthritis, infections and other diseases. It also has a good therapeutic effect on endocarditis. It can also prevent wound infections and has a good protective effect on the body. Cefazolin Sodium Instructions Drug Name Cefazolin Aliases Cefazolin;Cefazolin V;Cephalexin 5;Cefazolin sodium;Cefazolin;Cefazolin cephalosporin;Cefazolin;Cefazolin;Cefazolin;Kaifu; English name Cephazolin Aliases Cefazolin sodium;Ancef;Cefamedin;Kefzol;Totacef Chemical name (6R,7R)-3-[[(5-methyl-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)thio]methyl]-7-[(1H-tetrazol-1-yl)acetylamino]-8-oxo-5-thia-1-azabicyclo[4.2.o]oct-2-ene-2-carboxylic acid sodium salt Molecular structure Molecular formula C14H13N8NaO4S3 Molecular weight 476 Physical and chemical properties Its sodium salt is commonly used, which is a white or off-white crystalline powder, odorless, bitter, highly soluble in water, slightly soluble in methanol, very slightly soluble in ethanol, and insoluble in acetone, ether or chloroform. The pKa of its free acid is 2.5 and the pH of its solution is 4.5-6 (close to 5.5). The aqueous solution is relatively stable and can be stored at room temperature for 24 hours; it often crystallizes when cooled and should be melted in warm water before use. Pharmacopoeia Standards [Identification] (1) In the chromatogram recorded under the assay, the retention time of the major peak of the test solution should be consistent with the retention time of the major peak of the reference solution. (2) Take an appropriate amount of this product, dissolve it in water and dilute it to make a solution containing about 16 tons per 1 ml. Determine it by UV-visible spectrophotometry (Appendix IV A). The maximum absorption is at a wavelength of 272 nm. (3) This product shows the sodium salt identification reaction (1) (Appendix III). [Inspection] Acidity: Take this product and add water to make a solution containing 0.1 g of acid per 1 ml. Determine according to the method (Appendix VI H). The pH value should be 4.5-6.5. Clarity and color of the solution Take 5 portions of this product, 0.6g each, and dissolve them in 5ml of water. The solution should be clear and colorless. If turbid, it should not be thicker than the turbidity standard solution No. 1 (Appendix IX B). If colored, it should not be darker than the yellow or yellow-green standard colorimetric solution No. 3 (Appendix IX A Method 1). Take an appropriate amount of the relevant substance, add mobile phase A to dissolve and dilute to make a solution containing 2.5 mg per 1 ml as the test solution; accurately measure 1 ml, |
