How to treat brow bone fracture

How to treat brow bone fracture

The brow bone is a relatively high part near the eyes. It is easy to fracture when a collision occurs. Most brow bone fractures are caused by violence such as fighting and brawls. Therefore, we should maintain a good attitude in daily life and not care too much to avoid causing unnecessary injuries. So how should brow bone fracture be treated, and what are the contraindications during treatment?

1. Avoid massage

Tuina and massage can treat many diseases. However, for patients with fractures, manipulation and acupressure not only fail to relieve pain, but may also cause serious consequences. If you rashly receive manipulation or acupressure after a fracture, it is very likely that the fracture, which was not dislocated originally, will become dislocated, causing secondary injury. If it is a spinal fracture, any movement could be fatal, not to mention random manipulation or massage.

2. Avoid putting the fractured ends back to their original position

The exposed fracture ends should be fixed in place. If the exposed fracture ends are put back in place at will, it is very likely that bacteria will be brought into the deep wound and cause infection. When moving a casualty's injured limb, try to avoid moving the injured limb as much as possible, and ensure that the broken bone ends are separated without twisting the injured limb. If the fractured bones or dislocated joints move or are repositioned, this should be noted and explained clearly to the doctor when you are sent to the hospital.

3. Avoid applying hot towels

If there is a wound or fracture, it is not advisable to apply a towel externally. Applying a hot towel externally will aggravate the damage or swelling of blood vessels, which is not conducive to subsequent treatment and recovery. The correct approach is to close the wound immediately. It is best to cover the wound with a clean piece of cloth or clothing, and then bandage it with a cloth tape. When bandaging, it should not be too tight or too loose.

We cannot avoid accidents in our daily lives, but at the moment of an accident, we must keep a cool head, use relevant knowledge to save ourselves, and then go to the hospital in time for professional bandaging, which will be conducive to the recovery of fractures.
